What's Your Order Of Preference?

As humans, there is always something we prioritize or give much preference to. One could like this particular thing while the other hates it. What you like might not exactly be what I like that's because our taste differs in so many ways.
You could like to drink your water from the glass or cup while I like mine from the bottle, either way, it boils down to the individual's taste and preferences.
Today I wanna address the issue of texting, calling, and voice records or notes.
Which I like in their order of preference below.

Texting, Calling, Voice Notes?

Before now I could beat my chest and tell you how much I dislike two of the above options but I think now I am slowly adjusting and trying to marry the three even when most times it's very difficult.

TEXTING!

There is something about writing out my mind for one to read rather than speaking it out. I could easily express myself in written words and text, saying the exact or similar thing on voice or call could be a problem on my part, I don't know why. I love texting and I love reading text. I feel so bothered when someone is trying to relay a simple message and the person is ringing me up, for what exactly? I mean you could have easily passed your message or information with just two lines of text.
I grew to love writing because of my ability to express myself in words more than I can with my voice. I feel like I am letting people into the world of my mind through my writings and giving them access to whatever it is I can't express with my voice.
Texting is fun to me, it can be in any form, through chats or direct messages, whichever way, it has this spark that comes with it.

I enjoy letting my mind do the imagination and giving me a voice of its own when I am reading one's text messages. It may never be the same if the person is the one saying those things out with either a voice record or through calls.
I can go on ranting about how much I like texting compared to the other two but let's pause here for now and address the other two.

CALLING

If you are probably my friend or we've ever crossed paths, you will know I don't call except if the purpose or mission is beyond texts. And because of this, I rarely recharge my line for calls, and even if I do, I am never tempted to call a person or disturb anyone as the case may be from my end.
I can't just imagine myself calling someone and asking; how are you? and then that's it? It feels awkward to me. Having no specific purpose for dialing a person's number, at some point I get lost and try to figure out what next to say or ask, and that is absurd and I never like to put myself in that position. So instead, I reach out to people with messages if I want to.

Calling me? Of course, I will attend to the call, especially if it is from a loved one or someone I haven't heard from for a while but when it becomes a habit I feel bothered. I mean why always bugging me with long hours of calls? I've got things to do and when a call lasts for too long with someone I don't even like, it annoys the hell out of me, I will be like; can you just hang up already?(in my mind though)
I easily feel so tired and wearied out when I talk too long on a call and I am always looking forward to ending the call.
30minutes-1hour call to me is fair, 2 hours could be considered too if we've had a lot of important things to talk about but anything aside from that or more than 2hours? Please give me a break, I need my space, cause what exactly are we talking about for more than 2hours? You can complete the rest with text messages, don't come and drain my energy, thank you!

VOICE NOTES or RECORDS

NEVER!, I repeat never you send me a voice note except I demand for it. And there are just a few I demand voice notes from and if you aren't on that list, please don't you dare send them to me.
It pisses me off, I don't know how people enjoy wasting minutes and hours listening to voice notes, I can't do it and I really do not like it.
To me it's time wasting for the receiver, but not for the sender though.
You probably felt too tired to write out everything you wanna say and so you used a voice note, while I, on the other hand, feel bothered having to listen to your long hours of voice records. The hours I spend listening to you speak, I could have spent less than that reading your messages. And this is because I am the one doing the reading so it's faster, while listening to you talk is a different ball game cause I will have to keep to your pace, even if you talked slowly with pauses in between and all.

My friend @didiee knows I feel like strangling her each time she attempts voice notes with me. Every freaking time, I whine about it. I usually almost forget my fingers in her eyes each time she sends me an unexpected voice note and she on the other hand is mostly lazy sometimes to type or write what she has to say. I understand her though cause sometimes it's tiring to write but come on, I don't like this thing so I shouldn't always be reminding you not to do it with me.
Sometimes is okay but every time? I can't help but warn you about it. Don't come and litter my inbox with voice records, I hate it. I don't have the time to sit and listen to your speeches thank you!

Lastly, though it wasn't on the list, but please, by all means, DO NOT VIDEO call me without asking or requesting. Every time a guy does that in my DM, I feel like punching them. There is no excuse for this and absolutely no reason to video call me if you aren't overseas. I mean you are always talking to me or seeing my pictures so what's with the video call? Please don't!

Having analyzed all four modes of communication, three have red flags with conditions. The only one I have no problem with or without a red flag is texting, so, please text me if you need something, text me if you have a question, or text me if you wanna reach out to me. Text me except and unless I don't attend to your messages then you can go ahead and call to find out why, thank you!

I wouldn't just leave it this way, I really wanna hear from others and their view on those modes of communication I mentioned and their reason for liking whichever one they choose and why they dislike the others as well.
