RE: Content Creator Market Versus Traditional Media: A Monetary Look

I have never spent much time looking into the value of content creation as a market of itself until this article. Wild and encouraging to see the number that big! Wonder what it was when we started with Steem back in ‘17 or so.
This user generated content sure has some huge upside in terms of both revenue, attention and curation. Imagine the fuel it will be providing for ai! That data is going to be powerful as algorithms can measure not only the content for ai source material, but the popularity of each of the billions of pieces of content to identify trends and platform popularity.
Imagine all the ai fuel hive has generated over the years and how much it will in the future with progressed adoption.
So much food for thought!
YouTube was built upon user generated content. So was TikTok. Just think of the revenues generated from that. Then consider Facebook, Instagram, and X. All users generated content.
The users might not get the revenues but they are providing the value.
