Worklife - Nearly the end of the project!
Good day everyone! Zak here from Cape Town, South Africa!
We are nearly done with this in-port project at the docks with this vessel. Myself and my team are rather fatigued. This is a rather annoying reality, since I need to be up and awake and playing 3 games of Warhammer 40k at a competitive tournament tomorrow!
Guess I will have to use stims of some sort.
As you can see, the Gariep is on the water. By this I mean, that it is off the blocks and floating in the water. It actually need quite a few systems to be in working condition to make this happen.
A few days earlier it was on the blocks still, laying low in the dry dock. As you can see here, the gangways takes you to a different level than when the vessel is standing on the water.
Here is me standing on the access scaffolding at my container. I have a BOATLOAD (pun intended) of health and safety documentation to get ready for the next import.
I can't WAIT to go home tonight!

Is that a helipad on top of the bridge. I have never seen that before. That might help save you some commuting time !LOL
