Warhammer Battle Report - Brief encounter with Necrons!

Good day everyone! Zak Ludick here with another Warhammer 40,000 Battle Report... sort of.

This battle was scored as a win because the rules are the rules but if I had actually played the entirety of the game then perhaps there would have been a lot more fire going on in this battle.

You see... my opponent could only play 2 rounds and ended up playing one round plus his shooting phase in which case he only really wanted the satisfaction of blowing up one of my tanks and then started packing up!

He declared me the winner because I was leading by Victory Points at that stage and he knew this. But he had to leave and he knew he was conceding a win to me.

The only honor I gained from this game was that I can indeed quickly score fast secondary objectives against my opponent putting me in the lead early on in the battle.

That said I did clash my Thunderwolves with their two buffed Characters into the Transcendent C'Tan and it was not a good result! That thing is tough!

If you want someone to fight it... use Bjorn the Fell Handed or shoot at it!

The Space Wolf Deployment.
Right to left: Vindicator, Thunderwolves, Razorback, Land Raider, Bjorn in the back, Redemptor, Wulfen Dread, Razorback, VIndicator.

The Necron Deployment: Left to right Lychguard with 2x Characters, Hexmark Destroyer, Lokhus Heavy Destroyersbehind the ruin, with the Doomsday Ark, C'Tan in the front but that thing can teleport, Big squad of Necron Warriors and Illuminor Szeras I believe and the Reanimator!

Oh and there was another unit of Immortals back there too.

Gaining ground like this and putting my forces into peril scored me those vital early game Victory Points that won me this game on the Blitz.
