Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!
501 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #175, I am 326 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)

Aeldari, Autarch
10th Edition Index
Master of the many paths! An Autarch who has followed to Path of more than one Aspect Warrior Temple, but never dedicating themselves to once so fully as to become an Exarch.
The Aeldari live long. An Exarch dedicates themselves to the teachings of a single Temple while an Autarch learns as many ways of war as possible in order to become a general well versed in tactics drawn from multiple sources.
They cost 75pts to field and the kit costs $42. You will have lots of leftovers so you could always magnetize...

Weapons
The starter close combat weapon for the Autarch is the Star glaive which is a really decent choice out of the three, and the starter ranged weapon is a Shuriken Pistol which will also 100% of the time be swapped out for something better!
The Autarch can also take one of two "helm" upgrades.

Ranged Weapons
Each ranged weapon is an option, the Autarch can only have 1.
Shuriken Pistol
12" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 2+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Pistol (This weapon can be shot while in engagement range of enemy models)
Assault (This weapon can be shot even if the model had Advanced)
Fusion Pistol
6" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 2+, S8, AP-4 and D3 Damage each.
Pistol (This weapon can be shot while in engagement range of enemy models)
Assault (This weapon can be shot even if the model had Advanced)
Melta 2 (If firing at half range, increase the Damage by 2)
Dragon Fusion Gun
12" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 2+, S9, AP-4 and D6 Damage each.
Assault (This weapon can be shot even if the model had Advanced)
Melta 2 (If firing at half range, increase the Damage by 2)
Death spinner
12" Range, D6 Shots, Hitting on Auto, S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Torrent (Attacks automatically hit)
Devastating Wounds. (6's to Wound cause wounds that cannot be saved)
Reaper Launcher - starswarm firing option
48" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Heavy (When this model remains Stationary add +1 to the model's To Hit Rolls)
Reaper Launcher - starshot firing option
48" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S8, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Heavy (When this model remains Stationary add +1 to the model's To Hit Rolls)
Melee Weapons
Star glaive
5 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S6, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Banshee blade
5 Attacks, Hitting on 2+. S4, AP-3 and 1 Damage each.
Scorpion chainsword
6 Attacks, Hitting on 2+. S5, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Wargear Abilities
Banshee mask
The bearer's unit gets Fights First.
Mandiblasters
Melee weapons used by this model have Devastating Wounds (except for Vehicles or Monsters)
Abilities
Path of Command
If the Autarch is your Warlord and he is on the battlefield, at the start of your Command Phase add 1 CP to your total.
Superlative Strategist
Once per turn, you can use a Stratagem on this unit even though it has already been used this turn.
Thoughts
Look, if it was me it would be the Star Glaive and the Reaper Launcher.
I think the Autoarch's biggest weakness is with what units he is allowed to lead. Guarding Defenders or Storm Guardians...not exactly great units.
However, for additional CP during the battle it would be worth it to use him on his own or with a small unit and mostly hide them away.
That makes 20 Aeldari Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 27.77% Completed. The total Completed is 16.70% Complete! Can I review them all?!
