Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!

Deathwatch, Kill Team Cassius

Chaplain Cassius is an Epic Hero of the Ultramarines. This Killteam represents the unit that he led while he was part of the Deathwatch.

At first, I did not know if this Cassius was an "in the past" version or the "current timeline" version. But I can see that this model lacks his usual mass of bionics that he has while Chief of the Reclusiam of the Ultramarines.

This means that Cassius spent time in the Deathwatch before returning to the Ultramarines. He was a Chaplain already and when he returns, he becomes the leader of the Chapter's warrior priesthood.

This particular unit probably represents characters in a book. It is made up of named characters!

Catechism of Death

While Cassius is alive, melee weapons in this unit have Devastating Wounds! Meaning rolls of 6 to Wound cause Mortal Wounds.

Unflinching

This unit can re-roll Battleshock tests. With Cassius at Ld 5+, this makes them super solid.

Psychic hood

While Jensus Natorian is alive, the unit has a 4+++ Feel no Pain save against wounds caused by Psychic Attacks.

Thoughts

Again, I would love to own this unit! So much character! I will have to bide my time.

Though they are 255pts, I feel that they are really strong. I was surprised to see that the unit can Deep Strike and while they have NICE shooting, the Devastating Wound in Melee means that I would use them to attack the enemy close at hand!

That makes 9 Deathwatch Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 81.81% Completed! The total Completed is 12.35% Complete! Can I review them all?!
