What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!
Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!
505 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #179, I am 326 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)
January 2025 we are expecting Astra Militarum and Aeldari codexes as explained Here, so time to focus on THOSE Datasheets!
Astra Militarum, Nork Deddog
10th Edition Index
Stupendously loyal and tough, Nork Deddog is known for more than his insane muscle and grit - he is also the smartest Ogryn (that we know of), being able to count to at least ten and able to write his own name!
Nork is basically the Ogryn Bodyguard but better.
You paid 40pts for the standard Ogryn Bodyguard and you pay 60pts for Nork.
You get his parts in an Ogryn boxset so you get three models for $62.50
Let's see how Nork is tougher and better than the rest!
Like the Ogryn Bodyguard, you have to attach Nork to a Command Squad at the start of the game...

Ripper gun
18" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-1 and 2 Damage each.
Sustained Hits 1 (On a 6 to Hit, you generate another hit!)
Melee Weapons
Huge knife
6 Attacks, Hitting on 2+. S8, AP-1 and 2 Damage each.
Devastating Wounds! (So 6's do Mortal Wounds.)
Abilities
5+ Feel no Pain
Ogryn Bodyguard
While alive, the Officer in the unit has a 4+ Feel no Pain.
Thunderous Head-butt
Start of the combat, pick someone in Engagement Range. Headbutt them!
Roll a Dice, on a 2-5 do D3 Mortal Wounds. On a 6 do D3+3 Mortal Wounds!
Thoughts
Nork is amazing! His accuracy is Space Marine equivalent with his gun. He hits on 2's with a knife that is nearly Space Marine Powerfist stats but with Dev wounds. He is tough and he makes your Officer resistant to being sniped out.
On top of all of this, there is the Mortals he deals with his Headbutt which can really put the hurt in on the enemy!
Solid upgrade for those extra 20pts!
That makes 21 Astra Militarum Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 23.59% Completed. The total Completed is 17.21% Complete! Can I review them all?!

Oh yeah. You might want to know. Nork once killed an Ork Warboss with a headbutt which made the Meganobz retreat in awe. They must have thought this was the best Big 'Un Humie ever!
