What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!
430 days since the start of 10th Edition.

Deathwatch, Indomitor Kill Team

10th Edition Index

The Indomitor Kill Team is another one of those Deathwatch specials where there is a mix of units that would normally be in separate squads.

This one is based on Gravis Armor and is based on all the different Space Marine units that you wear that armour. The Base of the unit is Heavy Intercessors and the rest is filled up with Agressors, Eliminators and Inceptors.

Its 135pts for just 5 Heavy Intercessors or 270 for a 10 man Squad.

The Squad can be up to 10 models made up of the following:

5-10 Heavy Intercessors
0-2 Aggressors
0-2 Eliminators
0-2 Inceptors

Let's start with their base stats.

Stats

Movement 5"
Toughness 6
Save 3+(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 3
Ld 6+
OC 1

Weapons

Its best I do the weapons loadout per type of guy:

Heavy Intercessors

They are armed with a Heavy Bolt Rifle, Bolt Pistol and Close Combat Weapon.
For every 5 models in the unit, a Intercessor can exchange their Bolt Rifle for a Heavy Bolter

Ranged:

Bolt Pistol

Range 12", 1 Attack, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Pistol (Can be fired while in engagement range of enemy units as long as you shoot that unit.)

Heavy Bolt Rifle

Range 30", 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S5, Ap -1, 1 Damage each
Heavy (Plus 1 to Hit if the units remains stationary)
Assault (This weapon can be fired even if the unit Advanced)

Heavy Bolter

Range 36", 3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S5, Ap -1, 2 Damage each
Heavy (Plus 1 to Hit if the units remains stationary)
Assault (This weapon can be fired even if the unit Advanced)
Sustained Hits 1 (Rolls of a 6 to Hit score an additional hit)

Melee:

Close Combat Weapon

3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each

"Heavy Intercessors with power fists" or Aggressors

These can either be flamestorm Aggressors with powerfists or exchange the flamestorme for Boltstorm plus Fragstorm grenade launchers.

Ranged:

Flamestorm gauntlets

Range 12", D6+1 Attacks, Auto Hits, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Ignores Cover (The enemy does not get Benefit of Cover against this weapon)
Torrent (This weapon automatically hits, just roll for the number of attacks)
Twin-Linked (This weapon can re-roll the Wound roll)

Auto boltstorm gauntlets

Range 18", 3 Attacks, Hits on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Twin-Linked (This weapon can re-roll the Wound roll)

Fragstorm grenade launcher

Range 18", D6 Attacks, Hits on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Blast (For every 5 models in target unit rounding down, gain Plus 1 Attack)

Melee:

Power fists

3 Attacks, Hitting on 4+, S8, Ap -2, 2 Damage each
Twin-Linked (This weapon can re-roll the Wound roll)

"Heavy Intercessors with melta rifle" or Eradicators

If you take 2, they both start with Melta Rifles but one of them can take a Multi-Melta instead. These also carry Bolt Pistols.

Ranged:

Melta Rifle

Range 18", 1 Attack, Hitting on 3+, S9, Ap -4, D6 Damage each
Heavy (Plus 1 to Hit if the units remains stationary)
Melta 2 (If Shooting at a target at half range of 9" then add 2 to the Damage roll result.

Melta Multi

Range 18", 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S9, Ap -4, D6 Damage each
Heavy (Plus 1 to Hit if the units remains stationary)
Melta 2 (If Shooting at a target at half range of 9" then add 2 to the Damage roll result.

Bolt Pistol

Range 12", 1 Attack, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Pistol (Can be fired while in engagement range of enemy units as long as you shoot that unit.)

Melee:

Close Combat Weapon

3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each

"Heavy Intercessors with jump packs" or Eradicators

These can either have Assault bolters or Plasma Exterminators.

Assault bolters

Range 18", 3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S5, Ap -1, 2 Damage each
Pistol (Can be fired while in engagement range of enemy units as long as you shoot that unit.)
Twin-Linked (This weapon can re-roll the Wound roll)
Assault (This weapon can be fired even if the unit Advanced)
Sustained Hits 2 (Rolls of a 6 to Hit score 2x additional hits)

Plasma exterminators - Standard Firing Option

Range 18", 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S7, Ap -2, 2 Damage each
Pistol (Can be fired while in engagement range of enemy units as long as you shoot that unit.)
Twin-Linked (This weapon can re-roll the Wound roll)
Assault (This weapon can be fired even if the unit Advanced)

Plasma exterminators - Supercharge Firing Option

Range 18", 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S8, Ap -3, 3 Damage each
Pistol (Can be fired while in engagement range of enemy units as long as you shoot that unit.)
Twin-Linked (This weapon can re-roll the Wound roll)
Assault (This weapon can be fired even if the unit Advanced)
Hazardous (After using this weapon, each model must roll a dice, on a 1 this model takes 3 Mortal Wounds.

Melee:

Close Combat Weapon

3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each

Abilities

Indomitor Doctrines

This unit gets +1 to Hit when below starting Strength and +1 to Wound when below Half.

Thoughts

This is a really tough unit. Their unit Ability makes them perform better as members in the unit die, this helps cover the losses.

If it were up to me, I would build the squad as follows:

3x Heavy Intercessors with Bolt Rifles
2x Heavy Intercessors with Heavy Bolters
1x Eradicator with Multi-Melta
2x Aggressors with Fragstorm/Boltstorm
2x Inceptors with Assault Bolters

This would make them be a unit that puts out a withering amount of Assault firepower. They would move 5", Advance D6 and shoot at 18" with everything except the Multi-Melta.

Should they want to kill a tank with the Multi-Melta, they would need to Move and Shoot only.

With the right Character joined, this unit could absolutely wreck anything, even tanks.

That makes 8 Deathwatch Agents Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 72.72% Completed! The total Completed is 12.15% Complete! Can I review them all?!
