Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - The Great Unit Review Wheel! post!

What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!
410 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #98, I am 312 reviews behind!

Picking them randomly, let me spin the wheel again and see what I get:

Chaos Daemons, Beasts of Nurgle

10th Edition Index

Beast of Nurgle are large, meaty, slimy monsters with a lot of strength and very little brain. The truth is that in this grim dark setting, the Beasts of Nurgle are literally happy and playful. They have the mind of puppies.

Puppies that have hundreds of kilograms of daemonic muscle, mucus and guts hanging out... and it wants to hug you and bring disease...

They are 70pts for a single model or 140pts for a unit of 2.

The kit is $58 to purchase for 1 model.

Stats

Movement 6"
Toughness 9
Save 6+/5++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 7
Ld 7+
OC 2

Weapons

Melee:

Putrid appendages
6 Attacks, Hitting on 4+, S6, Ap -1, 2 Damage each
Devastating Wounds (rolls of 6 to Wound bypass armor and invuls)

Abilities

Deep Strike, Deadly Demise 1

Grotesque Regeneration

At the end of each Phase.... PHASE!

At the end of each Phase, every Beast of Nurgle that is wounded but not destroyed regenerates ALL of its lost wounds!

Each Phase means you can shoot it, if you did not kill it, then it is fully recovered by the time you charge into it. At the end of your combat, if you didn't kill it, it is fully restored again!

Thoughts

With that ability, the T9, W7, I am glad that it does not have more than a 5+ invul. And I am also glad that it does not have Feel No Pain.

It is ALREADY super difficult and annoying to kill, it can hold objectives... at this stage feel that this is an auto-include unit for a Chaos Daemon army that would be so great at just harassing the enemy!

That makes 4 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 7.27% Completed! The total Completed is 10.09% Complete! Can I review them all?!

The game has been around for decades and has a lot of models.

I should have started when the edition came out!

Besides these Datasheets, there is Legends Datasheets for all the factions as well.

And 1-2 Faction get a new Codex every month! This was the release Schedule... they have all come out...

Plus these two: Adepta Sororitas and Genestealer Cults

All that remains is the "Redacted" army which we think may be a new Imperial Inquisition book... Waiting to see if that appears before the end of the year... and more to come!

Beasts of Nurgle look like a fun, chaotic addition to any army. Very good one man

Hehe, they are a chaotic addition to a chaotic army.

You get them in Chaos Daemon armies. You can also ally them to Chaos Space Marine and Chaos Knight armies.
