Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - The Great Unit Review Wheel! post!

What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!
489 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #163, I am 326 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)

January 2025 we are expecting Astra Militarum and Aeldari codexes as explained Here, so time to focus on THOSE Datasheets!

Aeldari, Falcon

This is a Falcon. I hate Falcons... I hate them even more now that I had to write out all its bloody weapons TWICE!

140pts. $62.50

But let's check those stats...

Stats

Movement 14"
Toughness 9
Save 3+(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 12
Ld 6+

Weapons

Ranged:

Pulse Laser

48" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+. S9, AP -2 and D6 Damage each.

This is the main gun that does not get swapped out.

Then it has a bunch of weapon options, starting with a Scatter Laser

Scatter Laser

36" Range, 6 Shots, Hitting on 3+. S5, AP 0 and 1 Damage each.

Shuriken Cannon

24" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+. S6, AP -1 and 2 Damage each.
Sustained Hits 1 (Rolls of a 6 to Hit automatically score an additional hit)

Bright Lance

48" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S12, AP -3 and D6+2 Damage

Starcannon

36" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S8, AP -3 and 2 Damage each

Aeldari Missile Launcher - Starshot firing option

48" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S9, AP -2 and D6 Damage

Aeldari Missile Launcher - Sunburst Firing option

48" Range, D6 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each
Blast (Get +1 Attack for every 5 enemies in the target unit, rounding down)

Then it has some small arms, Twin Shuriken Catapults or another Shuriken Cannon

Twin Shuriken Catapults

18" Range, 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP -1, 1 Damage Each
Assault (This weapon can be fired after this unit Advanced)
Twin Linked (You can re-roll To Wound rolls)

Melee:

Wraithbone hull

3 Attacks, Hitting on 4+. S6, AP 0 and 1 Damage each.

Abilities

Deadly Demise D3 (For when it explodes)
Deep Strike (It can fly in to the battlefield)
Transport 6 (It can transport 6 models but Wraith Constructs count as 2 and it cannot transport Jump packs)

Fire Support

When the unit inside it gets out and shoots at something this tank just shot at, they can re-roll the To Wound roll.

Thoughts

This tank has no single use. It has many uses. Transport elite troops of any kind for a kill or to take objectives.

Armament can be adjusted to take on any sort of target. I would suggest that its armament depends on the rest of the army's balance.

That makes 14 Aeldari Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 19.44% Completed. The total Completed is 16.78% Complete! Can I review them all?!
