WARHAMMER 40k Modelling - WIP Daemon Prince from Nicholas Rorich and the Dangers of Kleen Green!
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
While you can get Great results cleaning the old paint off a model using Kleen Green, it can result in models, especially the resin ones, becoming floppy nightmares that do NOT recover from the chemical damage!
You can see that Kleen Green worked well in THIS post, that you can clean off paint rather well with the substance. However, you need to be careful...
So while Mortarian came out great for Nicholas, his resin Daemon Prince became a floppy, goopy mess that is not fit to be called a Daemon Prince! Even after I made the joke that they are really hard to mess up he said the model is a write-off.
So Nicholas got himself one of the new Daemon Prince found HERE
This kit comes with a LOT of options so you can build a Daemon Prince depending on the Daemon's Origin and Alignment to one of the Chaos Gods.
Of course, Nicholas is modelling his as a Nurgle follower and painting it to fit in with his Pallid Hands color scheme. Just a reminder that the Pallid Hand are one of the warbands of the Death Guard.
Enjoy the camera roll!

@zakludick
Very nice, I have seen this online, although Im not into table top games I really like building things, looking to buy a resin 3d printer this year and print miniatures like this just paint them and collect them, maybe even get into board games but thats just secondary for me, nice build 🤘
Thank you very much. Yeah, though they are pricey, Citadel Miniatures makes some really awesome stuff!
Cheers!
