Warhammer 40k - Lofty Goals

I have some lofty goals in regards to my Warhammer 40,000 collection... I mean, why would I have small goals? What would be the fun in that?

As you can see in the picture above... I have a fair bit of Warhammer 40k models. That is the tip of the Iceberg.

My dream is to take what I have, build and paint everything, blog about my journey and then use my blogging earning for this hobby to fund an ever growing collection of warhammer 40,000 miniatures until I have the largest collection of Imperial models... ever...

And the biggest Hive-powered collection.

And I would like the opportunity to take on this army:

And I would like to completely obliterate it! 😈😈😈😈😈

But in order for that to happen... I need to do a lot of building, sorting and painting.

And then comes the financial part of it...

As I said, there is a major LOFTY goalpoint.

There was a collection that I bought from a friend... I still owe him around R6000 ($340ish) for those models.

There is another friend that wants me to buy his collection for around R12,000 however half that would actually be for my son, who is on Hive but is unlikely to read this post. Anyway, the models I buy from this lot that does not fit in my collection means that I never run out of birthday/christmas presents!

Both of these lots are, however at 40% or less of the store value of the models. Therefore a great deal!

In conclusion... I need to put together around $1000.

The first $340ish I need to whack a bit before I start putting anything to the other one. But that guy wants that money to put towards his wedding and would like the money as soon as December! 😱😱😱😱😱

Can I do it?

Will I be able to give the guy a decent amount of money to secure to lot for me?

I shall need to work hard at it!
