Warhammer 40k - Hive Savings Fund 2024 - Week 25

Source

Hello everyone! Zak here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is my Warhammer Hive savings fund. I have been blogging about my hobby on Hive... to earn Hive... to spend on more hobby stuff... so I can blog more about my hobby!

This report SHOULD be leaps and bounds ahead of the previous one... let's have a look...

Last week I had the following in savings: 754.429HP

Savings now: 782.218HP

Difference: 27.789HP! Awesome! 3.96HP per day!

Current Total: 782.218HP
Current value in local currency (at the time of posting): R2,948.96

This total is on a low low current value. Not the price I would sell my Hobby fund for. Hive was trading at R7 earlier this year, which would put me over R5,400.

Of course, should we head for the next Bull Cycle and we get to a $3 all time high... $2340 or R42,000 would be an absolutely RIDICULOUS hobby fund.

At that point I would probably swing the Hobby Fund for HBD, stick that into savings and earn around R700+ in passive monthly income and make THAT my hobby fund! 😁😁😁

Other Stats:

HIVE Savings at the start of 2024: 238.598HP
Gain since then: 543.62HP
Days elapsed: 171
Average per day: 3.17HP Per day (That's gone up)
Posts pending payout: 8 posts

Current Total: 782.218HP
Percentage of my total HP: 14.47% (Significant increase in %, I need to blog about other stuff before my Hobby fund takes over my account hehe.)

Thank you so much for all your support!!!

Do you have any theories why the price is so low. I wonder if lots of big accounts are cashing out to go to hive fest?

My understanding is that a lot of it is that Upbit ( A South Korean exchange) was sitting on a lot of liquid HIVE and has been getting rid of it. But that once that drops the price, there's a certain amount of FUD and other people panic-sell.

In the long run, it might be a good thing, because Koreans trying to manipulate the market for HIVE for their own benefit is where most of the sudden big movements come from, so if they don't find it so easy to buy & sell HIVE on their local exchange it might reduce volatility.

That's my understanding, anyway ! It's always possible (even likely) that there are other things going on that I'm totally unaware of....

Sounds pretty reasonable, l remember when the price pumped upto $3, I heard it was some sth Korean exchange buying in.

So great to see your progress, brother. It's exciting to think about how much your hobby fund could grow with a bull cycle. Can't wait to see what you do with it man.. keep making the progress

Nice fund, man. I would love to reach to those highs. Given enough time and patience. I think I will. HIVE is on the cheap right now, so it may bee a good time to snag some. I am making a withdrawal of my HBD in the hopes i can catch at least a little of this action!

Indeed. I am tempted to do the same. It is a good time to boost growth for the next season.

Although I don't like Warhammer a lot, I played 40K Gladius some days ago and got addicted to it! Incredibly deep strategy game. Keep going with your hobby!

Haha, thank you.

Warhammer 40,000 has a incredibly deep and rich lore. Something for everyone... but grim-dark.
