The dust has settled and after 5 tough games of Warhammer 40,000 I have gotten my final placing at the end of the Sword and Board 40k tournament:

4th Place overall!

Win - Win - Win - Loss - Win

My fourth game was a loss and I lost only to Joedrich Stander, who ended 1st place! Our game in the 4th Round was a tough one and I had him very worries, he was actually on the back foot for a while but managed to put in a few key moves that saw him winning in the end of the match 91 v 78!

Joedrich plays Iron Hands, which is a Space Marine army fielding the Ironstorm Spearhead Detachment, the very same as the one I play!

In game 5 I played Carl Hydam... yes, you read that right @aussieninja... I played against the Orks! The Fates would see you having the best battle report ever come out of that match!

Though the Ork put me on the back foot temporarily for Victory Points... I ended up squishing him into a corner and making him flee from my army, in the end of the day, winning by 4 points!

It was an amazing event!

Due to my placing, I was awarded a R1000 Sword and Board store voucher!

Phenominal!

I am now quite tired and of course I have plenty to do at home. Power is out from 6pm till 8pm and I will make food after the power comes back on again I think.

At least the kids are done with exams.
