Hello everyone! Zak here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is Eternal Carnage!

Eternal Carnage is a home-brew project of ours playing Warhammer 40,000 at massive points levels, pitting massive armies against one another.

Well... if you have been following along on my posts then you already know all about it.

If not, then that was the gist of it. Also, check out this massive Grand Imperial Army!

I use this massive army to face off against Owen (Imperial Fists, Blood Angels, Necrons), Daniel (Dark Angels), Nicolaas (Tau Empire) and Marnus (Space Wolves).

This battle was massive so I have needed to split things up a bit. This is the pictures from the deployment of the battle!

Deployment!

Each side got to deploy around 3,500pts of models.

On the opposing side, units start to gather. You can see Dark Angels, Blood Angels and Imperial Fists form up everywhere!

On my side the enemy can start to see a bit of a gunline, including Hammerfall Bunkers!

From my side of the same angle, you see there is far more going on. Firestrike Servo-turrets, Aggressors led by a Captain, a Tactical Squad led by a Chaplain.

On the other side it gets even more spicy with Astra Militarum tanks, Cato Sicarius leading another Tactical squad, Centurians, more Tactical Squads!

Tanks supported by Dreadnoughts. Super fun! Look how big the Hammerfall Bunkers look!

The other side started filling up even more. Layers of Dreadnoughts, Bladeguard hiding behind every bush and crade, ready to counter attack. Azrael, Grand Master of the Dark Angels.

In the building on the left side you will see three snipers - Eliminators led by a Librarian. Nasty combo since I cannot shoot them until I am within 12"!

Dark Angels Tactical Squad below, Blood Angels Devastators at the top.

The view from the back of the enemy forces. I see there are some Tau in light blue on the right side. There will be Spotters for the Hammerheads later.

Right at the back is a Thunderfire Cannon and a Fire-support Dreadnought!

Some Firestrike cannons of his own. Very nice!

I also appreciate the fact that there is a Techmarine with full-servo harness!

So many tanks that one could swear that this is my Space Wolves tank division! But it is the Ultramarines and Astra Militarum only! Haha!

My opponent's side looks nice and loaded as well. Nothing here to be too worried about.

My opponents strategize and conspire. It is time to roll the dice to determine who shall take first turn.

Each of the opponents roll one dice and I roll three. Adding together scores, my opponents take first turn!
