If I were a cat today…

If I were one of our pets, like Lexi pictured above, I think my life would be much more simple. What would I do today?

I think the first thing is obvious. I would not go to work! I don’t feel like going to work today… but I will. I don’t feel like getting dressed and getting into the car, commuting through traffic and going to the office.

If I was a cat today, there would be no need to get dressed. I am dressed wherever I go. I would stay in bed, make a bed wherever was comfortable. I know they I would be coddled by @clairemobey so if I meowed at the door, she would let me in.

I would jump on the bed and choose a plays to curl up and she would shower me with love.

No need to go to work.

No need to stress.

No need to look at the clock.

No appointments or responsibilities.

I would eat the meals that my humans provide me and if I really wanted to and the weather was nice (And I was inclined to do it!) Then I would go out and find something to hunt and eat.

But I really do not need to.

I could just curl up…

… and sleep.
