Day 43 of the Debmar Atlantic Project - Waiting for Water

So we are on site and we are ready to work. However, shortly after starting up we lost water pressure and thus we had to stop and find out what went wrong.

Turns out, there was a water leak on the cooling water and this had to be stopped and drained to make a repair.

Above is the contractor that is repairing that pipe.

Here he is another picture without the arc of his welder.

You see, below is one of our systems. We cannot commission it and charge refrigerant without flowing cooling water or else we may end up freezing the still water in the piping and damaging our equipment.

The risk is too great and thus we have to wait.

Luckily we had other work to do for our technical team and I worked a standard 8.5 hours and then went home.

Which was awesome! Haha.

Till tomorrow then...

Cheers!
