Desayuno de revoltillo de huevo con arepa/breakfast of egg scrambled eggs with arepa

Nuestra cocina es muy variada dependiendo de cada región del país, a la hora de desayunar podemos encontrar varias opciones que cumplan con la dieta que requerimos. En esta ocasión voy a preparar con huevos un rico revoltillo de este plato tradicional. Esta preparación sencilla es uno de los desayunos de mi hermana Glideya, cuando venia con sus amistades de Caracas a Cumaná, este plato no faltaba, recuerdo la existencia de una sartén grande para que alcanzara la preparación del revoltillo para la cantidad de personas que disfrutábamos de este rico desayuno que acompañabamos con arepas o pan. Mi familia acostumbraba a preparar un rico revoltillo de huevos los fines de semana para compartir durante el desayuno.

Our cuisine is very varied depending on each region of the country, at breakfast time we can find several options that meet the diet we require. This time I am going to prepare with eggs a delicious scrambled eggs of this traditional dish. This simple preparation is one of the breakfasts of my sister Glideya, when she came with her friends from Caracas to Cumaná, this dish was never missing, I remember the existence of a large frying pan to prepare the revoltillo for the amount of people who enjoyed this delicious breakfast that we accompanied with arepas or bread. My family used to prepare a delicious revoltillo of eggs on weekends to share during breakfast.



Preparación-Preparation

Para preparar la receta necesitamos por lo menos los siguientes ingredientes

3 huevos

1 tomate

1 cebolla

Sal al gusto


To prepare the recipe we need at least the following ingredients

3 eggs

1 tomato

1 onion

Salt to taste



En primer lugar picamos el tomate y la cebolla, seguidamente en una sartén con aceite colocamos los aliños para sofreirlos.


First we chop the tomato and the onion, then in a frying pan with oil we put the seasonings to fry them.




Luego agregamos los huevos, revolvemos hasta mezclar los ingredientes, cuando esté listo los retiramos de la hornilla.


Then add the eggs, stir until the ingredients are mixed, when ready remove them from the stove.




Para acompañar el revoltillo, freímos plátanos, luego elaboramos la tradicional arepa la cual se hace con harina precocida.

To accompany the revoltillo, we fry plantains, then we make the traditional arepa, which is made with pre-cooked flour.




Listo nuestro desayuno lo llevamos a la mesa y disfrutamos del rico menú.

Our breakfast was ready, we took it to the table and enjoyed the delicious menu.

I love tomatoes with egg, with that being said, I am going to try this one out.

Personally, I've always thought that the perfect breakfast should contain eggs. I prefer them boiled, but fried are even more nutritious. Added to bread they become even better. And the other things you add sure make them even tastier. 😊
