This blog as of today challenge (Community Engagement Challenge: Support Articles) I will share and guide the new player to take Tournament to Challenge their knowledge, strategy, line-ups, and experience within the game SPLINTERLANDS. With your experience of the Brawls and Ranked play, it's time for you to take another challenge with exciting rewards which are the Tournaments in splinterlands. I will share how you can participate in this tournament just be ready with both splintershards and dark energy crystals they are the entry payment for specific event tournaments.

Getting into Tournament

After you open the site of splinterlands, click play and you can see Tournaments. This provides the opportunity to complete structured matches for rewards and earn more. This tournament is not just for professional players but also for beginner players or those just getting into tournament events which means it is open for all players across different skills.

As of October 20, 2024 tournament event splinterlands has distributed awarded 7.4k dollars and 6.4k upcoming tournament challenge. Now that a lot with this you can dominate most of these events with the given skills you have and get rewarded. Don't forget your entry fees splintershards and dark energy crystals for the payment based on the host entry fee. Of course the higher the fee the higher the prizes will be rewarded and more challenging.

Choose an Advantage Rules

There are also a lot of sets of events hosted mostly by SPLINTERLANDS DAO you can choose the specific rule set you want to take if your cards are strong enough to take those events. For me, since I have only a MODERN FORMAT set of cards and some I don't have like some Rebellion and Rifwachers.

I can then choose Modern Format with regular foils because I don't have some strong gold cards even though I have one still it's not enough, It just wastes my entry fee. You can see the scheduled date and time of starting battle of each event and during the battle, you can submit your teams for 24 hours round.

Rewards

For this event, you've chosen the event you will see rankings leaderboard, the more wins you've had the greater your chances of getting top 1-4 which gets 1,612.5 sps. Even if you get placed in 65-128 you'll get 134.4 sps which is more than the dec entry fee. Not all players participated in higher prizes because of rules but I think it also has higher benefits. Splinterlands DAO is always hosting this every season so don't worry if you're not ready yet this time. Players can win SPS tokens, DEC, and valuable NFT cards, with rewards varying depending on the tournament's size and how challenging it is. High-level tournaments can get thousands of SPS or rare cards, which can convert into significant earnings in real-world value. For example, winning a large-scale tournament might net a player hundreds of dollars worth of in-game assets, making tournaments not only fun but also potentially challenging.

My experience in the Tournament events During Free entry

I participated in the tournament event I think it is last year when free entry was introduced by Splinterlands DAO. It is a day where I've participated not once but almost 15 events that include all modern format regular foil in any league. I earn that time was like almost 2k sps each season. That time using both accounts my main account and my Balthazar account. Thanks to that I can buy some new cards and rent more sps and stronger cards.

Create Event Tournament

Creating an event is a great way of engaging of community and setting up custom competitions like the SPS DAO doing. There are set of information needed to fill up which defines the tournament details you want, entry fees & rewards, and the tournament structure (single elimination, double elimination, or Swiss-style tournaments which will determine how players advance and how many rounds the event will have), schedule, and promote your event through the Discord community or other social media platforms. And after you need 50 sps for creating this event hosting this event publicly or privately the Tournament Creation Fee.

It's open to everyone, so show your skill, and strategy, and dominate most of this event taking prizes and rewards.
