Iziar Boosting Dragons with Martyr's Ability
Martyr's is an ability that can increase all stats by 1 to its adjacent units however, this strategy requires the condition that this unit must be defeated to trigger the stat boost for adjacent allies.
Any combo that needs extra boosting of stats especially damage to overwhelm the opponent in damage or a tank that has high-speed stats and some useful abilities DODGE, PHASE, FLYING, and BACKFIRE which potentially increase the chance of incoming miss attacks of the opponent.
Today I will share a strategy using IZIAR utilizing the Martyr's ability to boost my main damage and tank durability (Void Dragon & Chaos Dragon). Dragon-Life element combo with prioritizing magic damage and defense (using Phase, Void, and Flying abilities).
Now let's into battle modern format applying this strategy. I am using my scholar account in this battle, I may have only limited cards but they are still useful and can counter those overpowered cards that I don't have.

My line-up
Summoner: Quix the Devious
- I specifically choose this summoner because of the limited mana cap of 47. It is also good since the rule set given is Silenced Summoner making it an ideal and cheap mana cost in dragon element. Dragon is the usual pick for additional cards to deploy in battle with more strategy to plan.
First position: Pelacor Conjurer
- It will act as a tank with useful abilities Flying, Magic Reflect, Divine Shield, and Phase. Placing this in the first position is ideal especially if the opponent mainly uses magic units.
Second position: Void Dragon
- It acts as a secondary tank if my Pelacor Conjurer is defeated. It is a good choice to place in this position because the following position is Iziar which makes this unit even stronger with a chance of evading opponent attacks. It has useful abilities Phase, Void, and Flying with stats of 2 magic damage, 5 speed, and 9 health.
Third position: Iziar
- A legendary soulbound card that costs 11 mana, a stats of 3 magic damage, 3 speed, and 14 health with abilities Taunt, Void, and Marty. This is a very useful and powerful in life element, these 3 abilities make it a very well combo Taunting that attacker backline to target this unit first, having capabilities to tank with void if the target is using magic attacks, and Martyr once this is executed it leaves boosting adjacent unit stats.
Fourth position: Chaos Dragon
- My main magic damage to my team that only costs 14 mana. It has stats of 4 magic damage, 3 speed, 4 armor, and 10 health with useful abilities Flying, Scattershot, Blast, and Blind. These abilities with magic damage are good combinations to dominate opponent backlines blasting it randomly.
Fifth position: Adelade Brightwing
- A support magic unit of my team that costs 7 mana. It has stats of 2 magic damage, 1 speed, and 5 health with useful abilities Flying, Immunity, Repair, and Ressurect. I use this unit because of Ressurect's ability hoping to resurrect my Iziar first before my Pelacor conjurer is defeated. With the resurrecting of Iziar, it can boost twice my Void Dragon and Chaos Dragon making it even stronger.
Last position: Doctor Blight
- Another support of my team debuffing or applying negative effects of the opponent target. It has stats of 2 magic damage, 1 speed, and 4 health with useful debuff abilities Affliction, Camouflage, Poison, Scavenger, and Weaken.
Together, the lineup balances durability, damage, and utility to outlast and overwhelm the opponent.
Analyze battle
The opponent seems to have an overpowered legendary, useful, and expensive card. Upon observing the battle progress, my Chaos Dragon was able to do its job randomly to target opponent backlines, especially Runeseer Sevaya, Venka the Vile, and Oshuur Constantia. I dominated the opponent in speed while the opponent did overwhelm me in damage difference and opponent units are slow except Venka the Vile making most of the magic attacks of the opponents missed. My Iziar executed as planned boosting my Dragons (Void Dragon & Chaos Dragon) and winning this match.
This match highlights the power of combining Martyr with high-impact units, making it a compelling strategy for you if you plan on aiming to dominate battles with thoughtful positioning and ability synergy.
Price on the market Iziar
Since this is a legendary card, it is expected to be expensive to buy though it is pretty useful in most battles. The regular foil market value is 8 dollars per 1 card while a gold foil card costs 109 dollars. You can do bidding if the price is a bit pricy and you'll have to wait if someone wants to deal with you based on your price put.
A Big Thanks! for supporting me, being here, and coming this far. I'm hoping this can assist you with some of your battles.
