Good day everyone splinterlands community, zactian here. Today I'll blog about another weekly challenge, Battle Mage Secrets, and share my strategy.

What Account Use

I'll play my Main Account (IGN: zactian). I will reveal my primary technique in this rule set Modern Gold League.

Challenge Rule set

Aim True is the challenge, in which all units have the guarantee hit. Publish by the challenge on the official Splinterlands Hive Blog. I'll probably use Noa the Just for this rule set to easily hit directly to the opponent's health.

Comment below with your opinions on the potential lineups at this level. Is it effective for this battle ruleset? Let's see and match up with the Aim True rule set.

AIM TRUE

Attacks using range, magic, and melee will always be guaranteed hit to their target.

Rule Set

Counter Spell

  • All units have the Magic Reflect Ability.

Aim True

  • All unit attacks will be guaranteed to hit.

Aimless

  • All units have the Scattershot Ability.

Recommended summoner to use Aim True for this match:

Dominating in DamageDominating in Debuffing buffingDominating in Speed difference
- General Sloan- Immortalis- Kelya Frendul
- Mylor Crowling- Possibilus the Wise- Avina of the Wolf
- Prophet Rosa- Ilthain- Lux Vega
- Underboss Fabino- Grandmaster Rathe- Ilthain
- Obsidian- Avina of the Wolf

The battle has a 20 mana cap to use summoners and cards. Only Water, Earth, and Life elements are active in this battle. I will be choosing Water Element and Kelya Frendul as most lineups I remember and the best for in speed as I'm planning to use most of the sneaky attack units because of how massive damage they will deal to opponents and with Noa the Just is the only thing I want to utilize the ability of Rust.

Note: I only have limited cards but they are useful in some rule sets and I will try my best to win with existing cards. So if you want a high chance of winning, I advise you to rent or buy useful or stronger cards for most rule sets.

Kelya Frendul

  • Additional +1 for both Armor and Speed.

    • Good tanking and attacking first.
    • Most of the units in this water element are at high speed already.
    • I'm planning to use Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit as my Main damage for my team, I assumed that the opponent would use Range or sneaky melee attacks because of only 20 mana-cap. I also want to use Noa the Just in the first position even the Dodge Ability is useless it is still a good tank because of its massive health and armor.

My Lineup

image.png

First position - Noa the Just

Act as a tank in the first position because I want to use Rust ability on this unit and this is a good tank for it has Decent health and armor.

Second position - Uraeus

Since I will plan to use sneaky attacks this unit is good for applying poison and 3 melee damage.

Third position - Pelacor Bandit

Another unit which is decent damage 3 melee damage and flying can also do sneaky attacks.

Fourth position - Anelic Mandarin

Acts as a healing support at the back of my team because I assume that the opponent will also use sneaky attacks.

Fifth position - Igor Darkspear

Additional Damage for it has Stun ability, a range unit and this is a good position for range.

Last position - Torrent Fiend

Act as an extra shield at the back for my team 0 mana-cap only.

Analyzing the Battle

The opponent also uses Kelya Frendul in this match. It is predicted that the opponent will use sneaky attacks that all only cost 20 mana-cap. Though my lineup can be countered by magic from Earth Element it still does not have enough speed and we know that Earth Element is slow speed. With my Noa the Just reduce their armor by 2 making my sneaky attack directly hit the opposing team's health.

image.png

Effective or not?

My assumption did what I expected, sneaky attacks with Noa the Just are very useful in this rule set and in a low mana cap. As you can see the match I easily executed the opponent's back team because there was no armor present and it was Guaranteed hit. Although the opponent shows the same damage to my team, it's still not enough to execute some of my support units. So taking a chance to assume is good with the lineups you want to use and taking advantage of the rule set given.

I like this rule set because I can use water elements and Sneakly attacks with limited card use. If you want to use Water Line up please do check some of my blogs and I hope it will help you.😊
