¡Hola amigos de la comunidad hive book club! El día de hoy les quiero compartir mis opiniones y reseña acerca de esta trilogía que leí hace unos días llamada en español: Asesinato para principiantes y en inglés: a good girl's guide to murder de la escritora Holly Jackson. Estuve días pensando si debía empezar esta trilogía debido a que no soy de leer mucho suspenso o thriller de misterio, pero no me arrepiento en lo absoluto!

El primer libro titulado: Asesinato para principiantes nos cuenta como Pippa Fitz-Amobi nuestra protagonista para su proyecto final decide investigar un caso cerrado que sucedió en su pueblo 5 años atrás, donde una chica Andie bell fue asesinada por su novio Sal Singh, pero su cuerpo nunca fue encontrado, hay algo en el caso y el instinto de Pippa que la hace investigar en profundidad, descubriendo que tal vez Sal es inocente y hay alguien el pueblo que no quiere que ella sepa lo que paso la noche del 20 de abril de 2012, la noche que desapareció Andie Bell.

Hello friends of the hive book club community! Today I want to share with you my opinions and review about this trilogy that I read a few days ago called in Spanish: Asesinato para principiantes and in English: a good girl's guide to murder by Holly Jackson. I spent days thinking if I should start this trilogy because I'm not much of a suspense or mystery thriller reader, but I don't regret it at all!

The first book titled: a good girl's guide to murder tells us how Pippa Fitz-Amobi our protagonist for her final project decides to investigate a closed case that happened in her town 5 years ago, where a girl Andie bell was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh, but her body was never found, there is something in the case and Pippa's instinct that makes her investigate in depth, discovering that maybe Sal is innocent and there is someone in town who does not want her to know what happened the night of April 20, 2012, the night Andie Bell disappeared.

En mi opinión, el libro es muy entretenido y rápido de leer; sin embargo, no creo que sea para todo el mundo. Te mantienen en suspenso durante casi todo el libro, lo que hace que te intrigas y no puedas dejar de leer. Los protagonistas Pippa y Ravi son personajes realmente agradables y que me agradaron desde el inicio. Ver cómo Pip descubre lo mucho que puedes no conocer a las personas me parece lo más resaltante. Opino que tal vez no sea para todo mundo porque no hay que olvidar que estos libros son ficción, por ende pasan cosas muy poco probables de pasar en la vida real, como que las personas le cuentan con mucha facilidad a Pip sobre su relación con Andie y como se llevaban con ella, cosa que se me hace poco realista, ya que, que una chica que no conozcas te empiece a hacer preguntas de un caso cerrado de hace 5 años es algo extraño, y más si eres un sospechoso o sabes algo que no le dijiste a la policía.

En el segundo libro llamado: Desaparición para expertos, Pippa después de ver todos los riesgos y cosas peligrosas que pasaron en su vida después de investigar el caso de Andie Bell, decide dejar de ser una detective y concentrarse en sus estudios, pero al ver que Jamie Reynolds, hermano de uno de sus mejores amigos desaparece y la policía no hace nada por encontrarlo decide investigarlo.

Este libro creo que fue mi favorito de los tres, pude apreciar más al equipo Ravi y Pip trabajar juntos por encontrar a Jamie y me mantuvo igual de atrapada en la historia que el primero, Además creo que tuvo uno de los mejores giros de trama de la trilogía donde Pip quedó aún más afectada que en el primer libro.

In my opinion, the book is very entertaining and quick to read; however, I don't think it is for everyone. You are kept in suspense for almost the entire book, which makes you intrigued and unable to stop reading. The main characters Pippa and Ravi are really likable characters and I liked them from the start. Seeing how Pip discovers how much you can't know people is the highlight for me. I think that it may not be for everyone because we must not forget that these books are fiction, therefore things happen that are very unlikely to happen in real life, like people tell Pip very easily about their relationship with Andie and how they got along with her, which seems unrealistic to me, since a girl you do not know starts asking you questions about a closed case from 5 years ago is something strange, especially if you are a suspect or you know something that you did not tell the police.

In the second book called: Good Girl, Bad Blood, Pippa after seeing all the risks and dangerous things that happened in her life after investigating the Andie Bell case, she decides to stop being a detective and concentrate on her studies, but when she sees that Jamie Reynolds, brother of one of her best friends disappears and the police do nothing to find him she decides to investigate him.

This book I think was my favorite of the three, I could appreciate more the Ravi and Pip team working together to find Jamie and it kept me just as caught up in the story as the first, Plus I think it had one of the best plot twists in the trilogy where Pip was even more affected than in the first book.

El tercer libro llamado: Venganza para víctimas, Pippa se ve muy afectada por todo lo que ha pasado y con lo famoso que se ha vuelto su podcast con Ravi hablando sobre los casos que ha resuelto ha empezado a recibir varias amenazas constantes y acompañadas del mismo mensaje “¿Quién te buscará cuando seas tú la que desaparezca?”, y se da cuenta de que empiezan a perseguirla, Pip necesita empezar a indagar lo más pronto y rápido que pueda porque esta vez puede ser ella la que desaparezca.

En este libro me parece muy destacable toda la atención al trastorno de estrés postraumático de Pippa y que este se nos recuerda a cada rato, ya que así lo siente ella después de haber vivido un evento tan traumático como el final del segundo libro. También tengo que comentar que este de los 3 libros es el que más me tardó en atrapar, no fue hasta más o menos la mitad del libro donde me fui interesando de verdad en ver qué pasaba, eso sí, no decepcionó el giro de la trama, sobre todo los últimos capítulos me parecieron demasiado fascinantes.

The third book called: As Good As Dead, Pippa is very affected by everything that has happened and with how famous her podcast with Ravi has become talking about the cases she has solved she has started to receive several constant threats and accompanied by the same message “Who will be looking for you when you are the one who disappears?”, and she realizes that they start to chase her, Pip needs to start digging as soon and fast as she can because this time she may be the one who disappears.

In this book I find very remarkable all the attention to Pippa's PTSD and that we are reminded of it at every turn, as this is how she feels after having lived through such a traumatic event as the end of the second book. I also have to comment that this of the 3 books is the one that took me the longest to get caught, it was not until about halfway through the book where I was really interested to see what happened, yes, the plot twist did not disappoint, especially the last chapters I found too fascinating.
