Hello travelers of the world, happy midweek, today after a while I want to share with you more experiences lived in Merida, it is worth mentioning that I am already back to the city but I can't stop thinking about those incredible vacations in the Azulita, join me to go hiking in Los Altos de San Luis.

Hola viajeros del mundo, feliz mitad de semana, hoy después de un tiempo le quiero compartir más experiencias vividas en Mérida, cabe resaltar que ya estoy de vuelta a la ciudad pero un no puedo dejar de pensar en esas increíbles vacaciones en la Azulita, acompañame a hacer senderismo a Los Altos de San Luis.

The first part of the trip was by car, let's say that it is a bit distant from the town, about 25 or 30 minutes by car and walking 1 to 3 hours depending on your physical condition, also as it is located between mountains there are many slopes, almost half way my friend's car overheated and made us take 30 minutes more, but the landscape was so beautiful that the time passed very quickly.

La primera parte de viaje fué en carro digamos que queda un poco distante del pueblo, unos 25 o 30 minutos en carro y caminando 1 a 3 horas dependiendo de tu condición física, además como se encuentra ubicado entre montañas hay muchas pendientes, casi llegando a mitad del camino el carro de mi amiga se recalentó y nos hizo demorar 30 minutos más, pero el paisaje era tan hermoso que el tiempo pasó muy rápido.

We finally arrived to an important place on the road, the pass of John a very friendly Englishman who allowed us to leave the car in his past while we went up the mountain, the part where the lodge is located is more populated than the rest of San Luis Alto, our goal was to get to the country house of Mrs. Modanis who lives up the mountain and we happened to meet her on the road so she could guide us to her house.

Llegamos por fin a un lugar importante del camino, la pasada de John un Ingles muy amigable que nos permitió dejar el carro en su pasado mientras subíamos a la montaña, la parte donde se encuentra ubicada la posada es más poblado que el resto de San Luis alto, nuestra meta era llegar a la casa de campo de la señora Modanis quien vive subiendo la montaña y casualmente la conseguimos en el camino así que nos pudo guiar hasta di casa.

Now yes, we started walking and I have to confess that it cost me a little, in certain climbs I was short of breath, then I took my pace and instead of going to the race I enjoyed more the moment, the landscape and the weather, it was very cold but the experience was totally worth it, see you in the second part, I hope you can enjoy this trip, greetings!

Ahora sí, comenzamos a caminar y les tengo que confesar que me costó un poco, en ciertas subidas me faltaba el aire, luego tomé mi ritmo y en vez de ir a la carrera me disfruté más del momento, el paisaje y el clima, estaba haciendo mucho frío pero la experiencia valió totalmente la pena, nos vemos en la segunda parte, espero puedan disfrutar de este viaje, ¡saludos!
