Hola amigas costureras y amantes de la costura, feliz inicio de semana y feliz lunes de agujas, espero tengan una semana muy productiva. Hoy les quiero mostrar un nuevo proyecto de costura que me tiene muy feliz, está vez para unas clientes que afortunadamente me escribieron para hacer unas pijamas navideñas, hoy les voy a mostrar la parte 1 de todo este proceso, ya terminé dos suéters y aún me faltan los pantalones y una pijama de niño pero vamos avanzando, además de esto está semana tengo otros encargos de amigas Hivers que me tienen muy feliz.

Ahora bien para estás pijamas quería hacer algo que al cliente le gustará así que nos pusimos de acuerdo en que quería y la combinación quedó con un suéter rojo y un pantalón mono con tela de cuadros rojos y verdes que les estaré mostrando pronto, por como lo veo en mi mente está combinación quedará genial, ¡Acompáñame a ver el proceso!

Hello sewing friends and sewing lovers, happy start of the week and happy Monday of needles, I hope you have a very productive week. Today I want to show you a new sewing project that has me very happy, this time for some customers who fortunately wrote me to make some Christmas pajamas, today I will show you part 1 of this whole process, I finished two sweaters and I still need the pants and a child's pajamas but we are moving forward, besides this this this week I have other orders from friends Hivers that have me very happy.

Now for these pajamas I wanted to make something that the customer would like so we agreed on what I wanted and the combination was a red sweater and a cute pants with red and green checkered fabric that I will be showing you soon, as I see it in my mind this combination will be great, Join me to see the process!

Comencé cortando todas las piezas, está fué una tarea ardua por qué fueron el doble de piezas, cabe resaltar que este suéter es talla L así que me guíe con un suéter de esa talla para sacar las piezas, extendí la tela doblada para comenzar a cortar las piezas, corté añadiendo los centímetros de margen de costura, corté dos piezas delanteras, dos piezas traseras y 4 mangas también corté las tiras para los bien del cuello, mangas y contorno del suéter.

I started cutting all the pieces, this was an arduous task because there were twice as many pieces, it is worth mentioning that this sweater is size L so I used a sweater of that size to cut the pieces, I extended the folded fabric to start cutting the pieces, I cut adding the centimeters of seam allowance, I cut two front pieces, two back pieces and 4 sleeves, I also cut the strips for the neck, sleeves and contour of the sweater.

El proceso para coser fué bastante fácil, aunque está vez tarde más por qué es el doble de trabajo, primero cosí los hombros para luego unir las mangas a las sisas, prosegui uniendo los derechos de las dos piezas para coser los costados desde la manga hasta el contorno del suéter.

The sewing process was quite easy, although this time it took longer because it is twice as much work, first I sewed the shoulders to join the sleeves to the armholes, then I continued by joining the right sides of the two pieces to sew the sides from the sleeve to the contour of the sweater.

Por último dejé los bies del cuello, los puños de las mangas y el contorno del suéter, esto lo hice con micro rib 2×2 una tela bastante stretch, el ancho de las tiras dependerá de como lo quiera, ya solo quedarían las costuras finales, yo uso zigzag para un mejor acabado. Finally I left the neck bias binding, the sleeve cuffs and the outline of the sweater, this I did with micro rib 2×2 a very stretchy fabric, the width of the strips will depend on how you want it, and only the final seams would be left, I use zigzag for a better finish.
