Why is this game so addictive? Playing Diablo on PS1.
I'll start testing PS1 games. There were many titles that I couldn't play when I was younger
I had already seen several people talk about this classic, especially when I looked a bit into the history of this video game.
So I decided to start all this. To try the first game.
The story is really good. Turns out we're in a place called Tristram. The Warrior is the eldest son of the king who went mad searching for his younger son who disappeared.
As for the gaming experience, I think it has aged quite well. It's been entertaining to play even now.
In this story, humans are hybrids between angels and demons.
In this first Diablo video game, we go down to the cathedral because the city is going to hell.
It turns out that someone tried to reincarnate Diablo and that unleashed a lot of problems.
We didn't last long because, on the 3rd level, we encountered the King as an undead. The very father of the warrior.
We'll definitely be back for more; we'll learn to play. I understand more about the dynamics of how characters should level up and so on.
This gameplay was accompanied by @manublog being the warrior.
All images are screenshots of the games I played.

I played it some time ago, it is true that it is addictive, although I stopped playing it because some areas were too difficult for me, no matter how much I increased the power, mana and stamina of my character it was almost impossible.
I'd never played the original game before. My only experience was with Diablo 3, and I didn't really grasp the story... But now, immersing myself in the classic Diablo on PS1, I'm realizing just how integral many characters are to this first installment.
And playing through the story from scratch is quite the journey. It's undeniably rough and challenging.
I had to consult some guides to figure out the best strategy, which apparently involves saving your character with their stats and items, then restarting worlds until you've built up enough strength to conquer the game.

Thanks for the support!
I played diabli II and it's quite fun, it's one of my favourite games
That sounds great! The storyline of the second game is quite fascinating. I've only watched it in videos, but I'm really looking forward to experiencing it firsthand soon.
While I've never played Diablo 1, it has an origin that really defined a whole genre of games. I did play Diablo 2 for quite awhile and even managed to beat UBERs with 2 of my friends.
David Brevik had no idea how monumental Diablo would be to the industry.
Good luck on your ventures around Tristram!
I plan to try out all the Diablo games. That's why we're starting from the beginning! Although a video of the storyline would suffice, nothing compares to playing it oneself. Additionally, I intend to revisit several retro games. Thanks for commenting!
Verrrrry good memories playing this game. Just the sounds and the voices really take me back. I tried I think Diablo 3 and it sucked so I'm just going to keep the good memories clean without spoiling with modern day garbage heh
