Let's Take A Look At Attack On Titan

Good evening, folks. It's been a while, but I'm back now with a brilliant series that we have been watching over the last couple of weeks.

I present Attack on Titan or Shingeki no Kyojin.

The series starts with an overview of the past, where mankind has been slaughtered by the lovely beings called Titans. After centuries of death, mankind is on the brink of extinction. Fighting back in the best way they can, mankind strives to continue surviving.

Season 1 starts pretty well, a good overview of why mankind is so screwed at the time of the Anime, why they live behind some huge big ass walls, and just why Titans are so feared.
The Titans just enjoy chowing on Humans, not for food, but solely for the hell of it. A bit messed up really and borderline evil.
Now with the Humans living behind the walls, they have been Titan-free for one hundred years. That's until the Colossal Titan appears and manages to smash a hole in one of the huge Impregnable walls that house Mankind.

This leads to the main characters being thrust into the limelight, With Eren Yeager seeing something that isn't too good for him and his family (Spoiler so I won't say what). But dayum it's a pretty messed up and gory but well worth a watch.
After witnessing this, Eren vows that he will track down and kill every Titan out there. He plans to do this by joining the Survey Corps AKA The Scouts. These guys are the ones who explore outside the great walls and just die all the damn time. Like literally it's a death group for sure. Much death and gore abundant.

As the first season progresses things get more and more interesting, throwing in some curveballs that I didn't see coming.
Overall a really good first season for a series and we jumped straight into the next 3 seasons with eager anticipation.

There is a total of 4 seasons, currently, we have 6 episodes left to watch, It's been a bit iffy for some parts as the story goes a bit off the rails, but so far I've enjoyed the whole series from start to finish.

One last thing to say is that the opening song is amazing and is easily the best song of the whole series for sure.
Sit back and enjoy the beauty that is Guren no Yumiya by Linked Horizon

This is a great ending as well, Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai by Yoko Hikasa

The following are for Season one episodes 14-25
This is the 2nd opening, and definitely nowhere as good as the first one, but still cool so I added it in. Jiyuu no Tsubasa by Linked Horizon. It just doesn't grab me like the first one does.

This is the 2nd ending which I much prefer over the 2nd opening song. Great Escape by Cinema Staff
