Let's Take A Look At Overlord

Good evening folks
Today we are taking a look at the series Overlord.
I will start with this disclaimer before we continue. I went into this knowing nothing about the series and the first episode gives the idea of how this series may go on 😅

Overlord starts with the final hour of a hugely popular online Virtual Reality game known as Yggdrasil. Momonga has decided to see out the last moments of Yggdrasil's life by staying logged on until the servers are finally shut down.
Much to Momonga's confusion, he finds that he is still within the game, fully conscious and to make things a bit more exciting, the NPCs now have their own personalities! Also, some have rather large chests... you know where this is going 😅

Now the first episode has a bit of fan service, which I was most definitely not expecting!
But that aside, there is a huge similarity with Sword Art Online for sure. Just swap the names and faces and bam, clone we have.
Now I'm 5 episodes in at the time of writing and it is a fairly enjoyable series so far. A good bit of story, action, and humour over these episodes have made me want to continue.

I'm assuming there will be some more fan service as we go with how Albedo seems to go on about her love for her great master.

A great intro song Clattanoia by OxT sets the scene well

Even the ending song is good too. Can't go wrong with a series with both a good opener and ending song!
