LOH Contest #143: Happy family vacations [ESP-ENG]
Hello dear ladies! Happy Tuesday, I hope you are very well, the theme of the week is to show and tell a little about our last vacation and it just so happens that last week we took a few days of vacation in Puerto la Cruz, taking advantage of my graduation ceremony that was also held in the city. Without further ado, let's get started.😊

Me encantan las vacaciones, es un momento de relajación, reconectar contigo mismo y aunque quisiera tenerlas más seguido, agradezco cuando puedo disfrutarlas. La semana pasada fue mi entrega de título de Medicina en la ciudad de Puerto la Cruz, viajamos de Puerto Ordaz unas 4 horas y claro está no podíamos dejar pasar la oportunidad de celebrar este logro en la playa y conocer algunos lugares de la ciudad.
Era la segunda vez que visitaba esta ciudad, me encanta lo organizada y limpia que és, sus habitantes muy amables y educados.
Are you fond of travelling? Where was your last family holiday?
I love vacations, it is a time to relax, reconnect with yourself and although I would like to have them more often, I am grateful when I can enjoy them. Last week was my graduation ceremony in the city of Puerto la Cruz, we traveled from Puerto Ordaz about 4 hours and of course we could not miss the opportunity to celebrate this achievement on the beach and visit some places in the city.
It was the second time I visited this city, I love how organized and clean it is, its inhabitants are very friendly and polite.
De camino a la playa paramos por el Paseo Colón, a pesar que no es un lugar apto para bañarse si puedes caminar por la orilla de la playa, capturar el paisaje, incluso tiene un gym estático para ejercitarte con una hermosa vista y la brisa marina o simplemente caminar en familia mientras disfrutas un rico helado. El día estaba soleado sin embargo al mirar hacia el horizonte me di cuenta que estaba comenzando a ponerse muy nublado y oscuro el cielo, pero tenía fe que sería solo una nube pasajera.
On the way to the beach we stopped by the Paseo Colon, although it is not a place suitable for swimming you can walk along the beach, capture the scenery, it even has a static gym to exercise with a beautiful view and the sea breeze or just walk with the family while enjoying a nice ice cream. The day was sunny, however when I looked towards the horizon I realized that the sky was starting to get very cloudy and dark, but I had faith that it would only be a passing cloud.
Efectivamente, el mal clima llegó, pero como dicen... al mal tiempo buena cara, eso no iba a detenernos para disfrutar un maravilloso día en la playa. Al estacionar en playa los canales conocimos al Sr Jehovanny, quien muy amablemente nos alquiló un toldo se puso al servicio con las bebidas y comentándonos los platos del día que tenían disponibles. Según su experiencia nos dijo que la lluvia era pasajera, en una hora ya tendriamos el sol radiante y así fue, valió la pena esperar y mojarnos un poquito, todo estuvo divertido y la comida divina.
Indeed, the bad weather arrived, but as they say? bad weather is always a good thing, that was not going to stop us from enjoying a wonderful day at the beach. When we parked at Playa Los Canales we met Mr. Jehovanny, who very kindly rented us an awning and started to serve us with drinks and told us about the dishes of the day that were available. According to his experience he told us that the rain was passing, in an hour we would have the sun shining and so it was, it was worth waiting and getting a little wet, everything was fun and the food was divine.
Nos protegimos de la lluvia durante 1 hora y luego de el sol que si estuvo inclemente tanto que me quemé un poco, aún con el uso del protector solar. Pero fuera de eso la pasamos de maravilla, el agua estaba en la temperatura perfecta, teníamos nuestro espacio, sin exceso de música para poder escuchar el sonido de las olas y conversar mientras tomábamos una cerveza fría.
We were protected from the rain for 1 hour and then from the sun that was so inclement that I got a little sunburned, even with the use of sunscreen. But other than that we had a wonderful time, the water was at the perfect temperature, we had our space, without excessive music so we could listen to the sound of the waves and chat while drinking a cold beer.
El platillo que nos recomendó el Sr Jehovanny estuvo delicioso, fue una sugerencia para probar de todo un poco. Traía ensalada, camarones, arepitas dulces y papas fritas, tostones y carne. Todo un manjar playero.
Estoy agradecida de estos momentos y muy feliz por compartirlos con mis seres queridos, deseando que se repitan estos días de vacaciones playeras.

The dish that Mr. Jehovanny recommended was delicious, it was a suggestion to try a little bit of everything. It had salad, shrimp, sweet arepitas and french fries, tostones and meat. All a beach delicacy.

Vacation is always good and needed too. I don't mind the bad weather if I'm in a nice place and I see that place qualifies. Also, I hope to see you more active from now on, commenting more.

Family vacations are always fun. The beach side is so beautiful and you too look very pretty. The dish you guys ordered is quite a lot and looks delicious also.
