Having a garden at home means enjoying the goodness of nature, since it gives us the great opportunity to eat much healthier, fresher food with a special flavor. When we harvest the fruits of our efforts, we obtain greater satisfaction, great joy and a lively spirit, full of energy and enthusiasm. My aunt lives in an apartment where space is not usually abundant, therefore, the windows are the only place available to place a series of pots inside which are sown seeds of different species, this in order to obtain food to be consumed by family members.

Una Flor de Pimentón
Tener un jardín en casa significa disfrutar de las bondades de la naturaleza, ya que nos brinda la gran oportunidad de poder consumir alimentos mucho más saludables, frescos y con un sabor especial, al cosechar los frutos de nuestro esfuerzo logramos obtener una mayor satisfacción, gran alegría y un espíritu vivo, lleno de energías y con mucho entusiasmo. Mi tía vive en un apartamento en donde el espacio no suele ser abundante, por lo tanto, las ventanas constituyen el único lugar disponible para colocar una serie de masetas en cuyo interior son sembradas semillas de diferentes especies, esto con la finalidad de obtener alimentos que permitan ser consumidos por los miembros de la familia.
It is in this way how I could appreciate a small plateau that after a long time begins to fill us with joy, since the plants that are in its interior began to bloom, giving us an image that teaches us with full clarity as is the process of life, the flowers hanging from the branches are small, delicate and with a deep white color, inside hides a fruit that in the near future will become a large green pepper, which will be dyed red as it reaches maturity.
Es de esta forma como pude apreciar una pequeña meseta que después de un largo tiempo comienza a llenarnos de alegría, ya que las plantas que se encuentran en su interior comenzaron a florear, regalándonos una imagen que nos enseña con plena claridad como es el proceso de la vida, las flores que cuelgan de las ramas son pequeñas, delicadas y con un profundo color blanco, en su interior se esconde un fruto que en el futuro cercano se convertirá en un gran pimentón verde, el cual se ira tiñendo de rojo a medida de que vaya alcanzando la madurez.
It is incredible how such a tiny seed becomes a large plant and how it later sprouts a fruit that is the ideal food for human consumption, also what makes this process more beautiful is to see how this evolution happens in front of our eyes, in a small pot of a few square centimeters. Sowing is a process that requires determination, a lot of dedication and enormous patience, it is for these reasons that when the fruits are in sight the joy overwhelms us immensely, since this represents the greatest prize and the greatest pride for all the sacrifice and work accumulated during long days.
Es increíble como una semilla tan diminuta se convierte en una gran planta y como posteriormente de esta brota un fruto que es el alimento ideal para el consumo humano, además lo que hace mas hermosos a este proceso es ver como esta evolución sucede frente a nuestros ojos, en una pequeña maceta de algunos pocos centímetros cuadrados. Sembrar es un proceso que requiere determinación, mucha dedicación y enorme paciencia, es por estas razones que cuando los frutos están a la vista la alegría nos embarga de forma inmensa, ya que esto representa el mayor premio y el más grande orgullo por todo el sacrificio y el trabajo acumulado durante largas jornadas.
Once the peppers are at their peak, they will become part of the delicious dishes prepared at home, which will save money because we do not have to buy them and at the same time gives us the peace of mind of knowing that we are consuming a vegetable free of chemicals, GMOs and pesticides, which gives us a better quality of life and keeps us healthy and well fed.
Una vez que los pimentones estén en su punto culminante pasaran a formar parte de los deliciosos platos preparados en casa, lo cual permitirá ahorrar dinero ya que no hay que comprarlos y al mismo tiempo nos brinda la tranquilidad de saber que estamos consumiendo un vegetal libre de químicos, transgénicos y agrotóxicos, lo cual nos aporta una mejor calidad de vida y nos mantiene sanos y bien alimentados.
