MY GRATITUDE - Day 1 My little win and backing
Hello my beloved friends, it's a pleasure to welcome you to a series I will be showing gratitude for all the wonderful experience i had this year.
I am super excited that the year is almost a wrap and no matter the happenings in it, I urge all the survivors of the year to be grateful for everything. The achievements(both little and great), gain, loss of loved ones, property or business etc. The good news is that we all made it to the last month and while hoping for a better new year, we should be grateful for 2024. So I'm dedicating this week to a series of gratitude for the year 2024.
Survival throughout the year 2024 was not an easy one but then I survived and I must congratulate other survivors. Personally, my survival was not without help from people around me and I will forever be grateful to everyone who in one way or the other made my survival easy. I will always tell people that there is a great difference between I have people and I know people. The people you know may not come through for you in difficult times but the people you have will always try to help you when need arises. My immediate family members and friends have been of great help and I'm very grateful to them.
I wouldn't fail to first of all congratulate myself for working so hard, staying strong, determined and persistent. By God's grace I have been an instrument of blessings to myself and people around me. I have achieved a lot of my penned down goals. I have taken online courses for my data analysis career, attended a lot of tech events, did a lot of meet and greet, got to network with people of like mind, I did my SIWES program and defended the project in school which earned me an A grade for my 300l second semester exams. Most importantly I started my crypto journey this year and I made a huge amount of money through it. Part of which I use to purchase my power bank. I celebrate all my achievements because there were limitations but I chose to ignore them against all odds and I'm proud I made that decision.
Moving forward, my greatest source of help is my family members and I am most grateful to everyone. From financial help to motivation, provisions of basic needs like food, clothing and shelter. My dad has always been so supportive and always ready to provide anything I need for school. My mom has always been on the issue that I take my sewing skills seriously plus my academics, unlike my dad who believes I should finish one thing first before indulging in another. so she's always supporting me by doing my house chores when I have a dress to deliver so I can concentrate on sewing and deliver a good job. She will always advertise my liquid soap and make sure she's one of my customers during each production. My sister buys my goodies and always tells me how to go about things in school, learning from her experience during university days. She is my number one model in my fashion business and has brought me customers too.
I am forever indebted to my friend and coursemate Miss Joy Emmanuel who has been more like a sister. Joy calls every day so we could walk together to school. She checks on me to see how we can do our assignments and reminds me of the ones I forget. She helps pay for my transport when I don't have it and I always reciprocate the gesture when I have money too. During our last holiday, she went back to her base which is Lagos Nigeria and when she came back, she bought me gifts that I will forever appreciate. Aside from Miss Joy, I am grateful to every other coursemate, friends, church members, neighbors etc that has helped me in one way or the other this year.
My life this year is a testament that the god I serve is great and as he brought me people to help me this year, next year he will make me a channel of blessings to myself and people around me.
