Hello everyone, it's another week of the hive open mic community where musicians all over the world get united here by their beautiful performances. The theme for the week is FIGHT OPPRESSION. Lately there has been a lot of oppression coming from different angles which gained Nigerians the new slogan the pressure is getting wesser which simply means the pressure is getting worse. Although I believe that one can only be oppressed if one allows it.
One of the major sources of oppression, I observe mostly is in cases where we can't get to where we want to either financially, career wise or other wise especially seeing that out friends or people we started with are already doing a lot better than we are. This can actually be avoided if one is able to appreciate his/her life with goals ahead and not because someone else is there or in a bid to compete. As we all have different faces, so is our luck and goodwill, hence we should cultivate the habit of patience while waiting on God and putting in our best.

Hola a todos, es otra semana de la comunidad de micrófono abierto de la colmena donde los músicos de todo el mundo se unen aquí por sus hermosas actuaciones. El tema de la semana es Lucha contra la opresión. Últimamente ha habido mucha opresión desde diferentes ángulos, lo que ha hecho que los nigerianos se ganen el nuevo eslogan the pressure is getting wesser, que simplemente significa que la presión es cada vez peor. Aunque creo que uno sólo puede ser oprimido si lo permite.
Una de las principales fuentes de opresión, que observo sobre todo, se da en los casos en los que no podemos llegar a donde queremos, ya sea económicamente, profesionalmente o de otro modo, especialmente al ver que a nuestros amigos o a las personas con las que empezamos ya les va mucho mejor que a nosotros. En realidad, esto puede evitarse si uno es capaz de apreciar su vida con objetivos por delante y no porque otra persona esté ahí o en un intento de competir. Como todos tenemos caras diferentes, también lo son nuestra suerte y nuestra buena voluntad, de ahí que debamos cultivar el hábito de la paciencia mientras esperamos en Dios y ponemos lo mejor de nosotros mismos.

Hi Udee we hadn't seen each other for days, glad to visit and hear from you again. How interesting this presentation, I see a very noticeable progress in voice control, I heard some falsettos and some high notes that were a little difficult but you reached them, I congratulate you for that 🌹💖; with the latter try not to put your head back so much because you cut the air flow which makes your voice break. Additionally rehearse the song hours before the performance and about 20 minutes before recording try not to talk too much and do breathing exercises so you can reach those notes easily because you can reach them and keep them solid during the whole song, I have no doubt!!!
Udee I wanted to propose you something for the next presentations, how about if you start recording with the phone horizontally? so that little by little you can adapt more to the format that we expect at video level, do you think?
I liked this song and I agree when you say that we oppress ourselves to fight for our dreams, you just have to have the will and know how to recognize the opportunities for success within the adversities!!!!
