Let's make a collage challenge 142: Terror at sea [ENG-ESP]

¡Saludos querida comunidad! Estoy muy feliz de volver a participar nuevamente de este concurso, en esta oportunidad la imagen aportada por @shaka es increíble igual que las rondas anteriores, no disfruto demasiado estar en aguas abiertas, soy un gusano de tierra me da algo de fobia la inmensidad del océano y lo poco explorado, se me hace muy posible la presencia de enormes criaturas, es por ello que en este collage quise aprovechar mi fobia y el paisaje con el pequeño barco, para dibujar un enorme molusco saliendo del debajo del mar para comerlo de un bocado, sin más que agregar un abrazo a todos los compañeros Lmacians y espero que sea de su agrado.

Greetings dear community! I am very happy to participate again in this contest, this time the image contributed by @shaka is incredible as the previous rounds, I do not enjoy too much to be in open water, I am a land worm I have a phobia of the vastness of the ocean and the little explored, it is very possible the presence of huge creatures, that is why in this collage I wanted to take advantage of my phobia and the landscape with the small boat, to draw a huge mollusk coming out from under the sea to eat it in one bite, without more to add a hug to all fellow Lmacians and I hope it is to your liking.

Lo primero que hice fue el boceto a grandes rasgos de la criatura, dibuje los tentáculos rodeando el pequeño barco a modo de engullirlo de un solo bocado, para esta edición he usado el programa de dibujo Paint tool SAI; seguidamente rellene la figura coloreando los seis brazos que se pueden apreciar sobre la superficie del agua.

The first thing I did was the rough sketch of the creature, I drew the tentacles surrounding the small boat in order to swallow it in one bite, for this edition I used the drawing program Paint tool SAI; then I filled the figure by coloring the six arms that can be seen on the surface of the water.

Luego procedí a dibujar también las fauces de la criatura (aunque más delante terminaría descartando esta idea) también dibuje con un color más oscuro la parte sumergida del enorme calamar, también en este punto comencé a buscar algunas referencias en internet para guiar el color de esta criatura y note que mucho poseen una piel con pequeñas manchas más oscuras así que quise replicar eso en mi criatura.

Then I proceeded to draw also the jaws of the creature (although later I would end up discarding this idea) I also drew with a darker color the submerged part of the huge squid, also at this point I started to look for some references on the internet to guide the color of this creature and I noticed that many have a skin with small darker spots so I wanted to replicate that in my creature.

Seguidamente aplique algunos filtros sobre la parte sumergida para que pareciera que realmente está ubicada bajo el agua, también dibuje algunas líneas blancas justo sobre el área donde los tentáculos sobresalen del agua y como el cielo estaba bastante tranquilo tome algunas nubes de tormenta y las coloque sobre el cielo, al cual aplique también algunos filtros.

Then I applied some filters on the submerged part to make it look like it is really located underwater, I also drew some white lines just above the area where the tentacles protrude from the water and as the sky was quite calm I took some storm clouds and placed them in the sky, to which I also applied some filters.

Aun me parecía que algo faltaba así que me vi a la tarea de encontrar algún otro elemento para el fondo, y encontré unas escarpadas montañas y nubes de tormenta eléctrica en Pixabay las cual coloque sobre la línea del horizonte, para aportar un ambiente más sombrío también modifique los colores bajando los niveles de saturación e iluminación.

I still felt that something was missing so I went to the task of finding some other element for the background, and I found some steep mountains and thunderstorm clouds on Pixabay which I placed over the horizon line, to bring a more somber atmosphere I also modified the colors by lowering the saturation and lighting levels.

En fin, este ha sido todo mi proceso espero que haya sido de su agrado, este tipo de trabajo solo aumenta mi miedo al mar abierto jajja
