Lava Spider - Splinterlands Art Contest 246

Esta es la primera vez que dibujo algo para el concurso de Splinterlands, admito que he visto todas las cartas y he pensado mucho en que dibujar y no habia sido capaz, pero vi una carta que llamo poderosamente mi atención esta fue lava spider pense en la mitologia cuando atenea convirtió a una tejedora en araña luego de considerarse mejor que ella en las artes del tejido, esta vez quise hacer lo contrario y hacer una versión humana de las arañas de lava...
Les mostrare un poco del proceso espero me acompañen y sea de su agrado.

This is the first time that I draw something for the Splinterlands contest, I admit that I have seen all the cards and I have thought a lot about what to draw and I had not been able, but I saw a card that called powerfully .i attention this was lava spider I thought about the mythology when Athena turned a weaver into a spider after being considered better than her in the arts of weaving, this time I wanted to do the opposite and make a human version of the spiders of lava ....

I will show you a little of the process I hope you join me and I hope you like it.

Al leer la descripción, supe que es un animal que ataca cuando te sientes desprevenido, liberando sus redes de lava sobre sus victimas, asi que pense que como humana deberia ser como una femme fatale, asi que busque algunas poses para hacer a mi personajes, asi fue que di con la siguiente imagen y dibuje esta pose para mi araña de lava, primero hoce un boceto en un color claro y luego dibuje las lineas de mi dibujo.

When I read the description, I knew that it is an animal that attacks when you feel unprepared, releasing its lava webs on its victims, so I thought that as a human I should be like a femme fatale, so I looked for some poses to make my characters, so I found the following image and drew this pose for my lava spider, first I made a sketch in a light color and then I drew the lines of my drawing.

Seguidamente coloree el fondo de un tono oscuro, y coloque el tono base de su piel, cabello y ropa; en primer lugar decidi dibujar su cabello con muchas ondas, porque pretendia que estuviera hecho de fuego, y que sus vestiduras estuviesen hechas de lava ardiente.

Next I colored the background in a dark tone, and placed the base tone of her skin, hair and clothes; first I decided to draw her hair with many waves, because I intended her hair to be made of fire, and her clothes to be made of burning lava.

Luego comence a pintar su piel colocando los diferentes tonos de luces y sombras para lograr los volumenes de su figura, primero fueron solo unos manchones de color que fui difuminando poco a poco hasta conseguir una textura suave.

En este punto comencé a definir la forma de su corset que estaria formada de roca volcánica, con magma hirviendo bajo esta capa.

Then I began to paint her skin placing the different shades of light and shadow to achieve the volumes of her figure, first it was just a few spots of color that I gradually blurred until I got a smooth texture.
At this point I began to define the shape of her corset that would be formed of volcanic rock, with boiling magma under this layer.

A continuación aplicó algunos cambios el cabello que antes habia pensado hacer de fuego, decidi que fuera lava goteando desde que se uniria al final con la cola de su vestido hecho también de lava, es asi que dibuje la nueva forma e hice un degradado de amarillo, naranja a unos tonos marrones e incluso violetas hasta el final de su cabello, me encantó este nuevo cabello ya puedo imaginar seres elementales usando cabellos de diferentes materiales.

Next I applied some changes to the hair that I had previously thought to make of fire, I decided to make it lava dripping since it would join the end with her dress also made of lava, so I drew the new shape and made a gradient of yellow, orange to some brown and even violet tones until the end of her hair, I love this new hair and I can imagine elemental beings using hair of different materials.

Por ultimo quise hacer un pequeño gif para recordar el peligro de esta criatura que aunque hermosa es fatal, aunque no creo que nadie pueda acercarse mucho sin quedar carbonizado en el intento, espero que est ilustracion haya sido de su agrado!

Finally I wanted to make a small gif to remember the danger of this creature that although beautiful is fatal, although I do not think anyone can get too close without being charred in the attempt, I hope this illustration has been to your liking!
