Hive: value or price?
Does it really matter if Hive hits the $3 mark again? Recently, a very dear friend whom I started in this blockchain, faced a need and was forced to start a power down. It hurt me because right now the token value is low and it won't get all the benefits it should, I always like to see the people I love get what they deserve, especially when I consider that this year the price will be quite close to the dollar.
But it wasn't just that. She is enormously talented and brings much more value to the Hive blockchain than she extracts monetarily and doing this powerdown can affect her. Let me explain, it is easier to create a follower base and receive more upvotes when you have a high HP. It may be a slightly unpopular opinion, but the data is there. Those whose upvote distributes in rewards a figure greater than 0.10 Hive receive as rewards for their posts an average that always exceeds 1 HBD. It is the simple social reality that money calls money to a much greater extent than quality.
Until now she has been following a strategy that I gave her, yes, it is slow, but I like to believe that we are in this for the long term. It is about using only the HBD and not touching the HP until you are generating at least 1 $HIVE per day through healing. Indeed, this could take several years to become possible, but with his level of creativity, talent, and real value that he brings to the blockchain, it would be well deserved.
Real value? It must be clear that most of the publications in the Hive blockchain are social, that is, information that dies in a day or two. Just like on Instagram, and Facebook, If the content is not viewed on its first day, it generally is not viewed anymore. And this is when I affirm that @limaescritora provides real value, since it uses Hive as a repository for its reviews and chronicles literary (very good quality, by the way). Content that is and will be useful indefinitely. However, it is the type of publication that receives the lowest ratings of all the ones it makes.
If we follow @taskmaster4450's idea that this type of content that is useful for years or even decades is what will ensure the value of a blockchain like Hive, then creators like Lisbeth are the ones that we should preserve and encourage. In this sense, other dAPPs like @ecency, @threespeak, and @peakd should take the example of @leofinance about embedding ads and rewarding Evergreen content creators. An action like that would ensure that creators of value (more than content) choose Hive as their home, being able to displace actors such as mediums or WordPress.
In a reality where the content you create can be monetized indefinitely, where if you position through SEO within the first results of Google and other search engines you receive a satisfactory monthly income, does it matter if Hive reaches the mark again of 3 USD? The truth is no, but, most likely, it will exceed it.
I agree with many who believe that the objective should create value and retain these value creators (writers, developers, businesses, etc.), Inleo has already paved the way. However, I also believe that one or several web 2.5 platforms related to Hive are vital to making that process massive.

Most of the reason why all of us on the blockchain absolutely love being here on the blockchain is that there is no ads. The fact that there is no ads and the fact that we are independent is an absolutely amazing thing. We will see what happens with ADD revenue however it's looking like Leo adds really aren't doing so awesome.
You never know!
Let's waith and see what happen
I've been through it all...
