Female Light Healer - FanArt HoloZing
Hey, how are you? Today I want to show you the most difficult and complicated drawing I've done in the last 2 years. But first, this cute attempt is a fanart of one of the characters from the game @holozing. In fact, I've done 3 Healers for this contest .
Well, where was I? Oh, right, why do I say this drawing was extremely difficult to make:
Firstly, the lines get complicated enough to make my head spin, spending hours "cleaning and improving" the lines, a cycle that would never end, since even upon finishing, I still want to keep fixing.
Secondly, as if the lines and style weren't enough, it's a type of drawing that looks cute, lovely, among other things. I tried a couple of times in past years to draw some chibi girls and the result was ummm catastrophic?
😅
After giving it some thought and having several ideas for this fan art of #holozing, I set that aside and ventured into this challenge. I felt brave 😏😃😄 when I had a clearer idea, I wanted to make a version of this girl, just a little younger. Initially, I was going to create fanart of the beautiful Water Healer, but finally the light came to me and I chose the design of the Light Healer also made by @craizuss. Btw, they are very cute, and I adore the lines.
A friend of mine, who's an illustrator that I chat with occasionally (when we both have some free time), creates some really cute stickers. They're truly good and adorable, some even have movement wowwww those are next level for me lol .
Honestly, this feels like a big step for me lms hmmm in 2022, I did these. Making them without actually seeing the lines (Wacom without screen) and ending up with something halfway decent was a personal milestone for me. It felt so good that I hadn't tackled a drawing involving lines since then, so I'm pretty pleased with how this little one turned out.
I've started and finished this drawing in Ps since in Corel, although it has very good ink brushes, I feel less comfortable because I had to move the canvas a lot to find the "perfect lines" well not perfect but decent ones. The first part, which is the sketch, was the fastest part even though it looked quite messy.
After being happy with the sketch, I moved on to the first and crucial part: trying to clean up the line art. This would be the first of many attempts, and besides, it allowed for a better view of the face and other details. By the way, I wanted some texture in the line art, so I used a round brush with a bit of texture. The lines still looked a bit weird, but it was better than when I started.
Yeah, in the next steps where there's a base color, you can notice more of the imperfections or brush textures. After laying down the base colors, there were many things to do, and the ones that scared me the most were here because this was where I mostly made mistakes in past attempts.
The only thing is that as I progressed and added a bit more shading, for which I used the same textured brush, the girl was looking better and I felt she wasn't so lost. In the midst of that, I went back to "improve the lineart" again, it was the third time with this, if we count the sketch. For the background, which would be almost a flat color, I also added the symbol of this healer.
I made some small changes to the hair, also added some darker shadows to it, went back to "improve the lineart," added some highlights "Improved the lineart of the eyes," did the eyes, some color adjustments, ohhh and I almost forgot the yellow color in the hair. In fact, I realized that when I was writing the post. After all that, this girl was finally ready
Thank you very much for taking the time to view my work.

😍Your drawing is super cuteee, and I love the journey you shared from tackling tricky lines to creating this adorable character. The decision to make a younger version of the Light Healer is spot-on, and the little healer symbol in the background adds a cool touch. You've really leveled up from your past chibi struggles. Keep rocking it! 👏👍
I love the way you made her eyes. Very charming😊
She is so adorbs! 💖 I like this style of yours, Triz! ✨

Que dibujo tan adorable, me gusta mucho cada detalle 💖
It is a beautiful version of the Healer. Nice work
It is indeed difficult and complicated one. But I love this artwork. It is really beautiful and colorful. 😊
Looks like everyone is rocking light healer these days hehe.
I'm always amazed to hear that people who draw in realism have trouble drawing in cartoon style xd. I know a friend who said the same. I don't get it haha. Usually the opposite is true don't you think?
Anyway, nice work and I like to see where you go with type of style in the future.
Hermoso trabajo, es muy kawaii😍
gracias cariño! es un estilo muy lindo aunque dificil ahhh🤣
Aun así es hermoso 😍
