Oh, how scary it is the first time.
My first time was a little late and it happened this weekend. I think. But as they say in good Cuban, it's never too late if happiness comes. Forty seems to me a good age to start and yesterday was my first time.
My first time staying in a hotel and in Varadero, one of the most famous beaches in Cuba and the world. I can imagine the surprised face of those who read me right now, "ah but that was it, what nonsense", but for a simple, hard-working Cuban, it is an almost unattainable dream.
Then my friends will understand how fascinated I am when I entered the four-star Hotel Arenas Doradas yesterday Sunday at 5 pm. Gentlemen, another world, escaped even from myself. I arrived invited to an event, so my tourism is scientific. The pictures I show you are not the best because the night came in but I will tell you everything.
A total shudder when at the reception they check you in, give you the key and give you the famous Manilla that means you don't have to pay anything else while you are there. I'm not a VIP client but it's great to be around.
We walked a bit to stretch our legs after several hours of travel. We briefly toured the place. Admiring the spacious halls. The green areas are spectacular, vares, pergolas, fountains and a beautiful swimming pool.
The Hotel Arenas Doradas is a two-story building, predominantly white on the walls and red on the roof with a beautiful Creole tiles that give me freshness and harmonize with the green of the vegetation.
The corridors are wide and the employees are friendly, always ready to help.
The food is surprising. Buffet table, something new for me. You serve yourself what you want and how much you want. There is a variety of meats, salads, rice, pasta, sweets and ice cream. Great to see people being happy. I was surprised as a novice but acting cautiously. Although I tell them that I bring a regret, I could not bring with me my Julios, my little son and my husband, that lacerates my joy.
The night progressed fast, an area for dancing with music in Russian, I did not understand anything at all. Most of the guests are Russian and request those songs. Although seeing us Cuban Reyoyos we were also pleased with music in Spanish.
We danced a bit, laughed and walked around the different areas. There were several drinks available, but I really don't like alcohol so I passed on those drinks. I looked for soft drinks or malt but couldn't find any.
I saw a piano and sat there, I tried to play but not even a decent note came out hahahahahahahaha.
After walking around the hotel we went to the room, sober but very comfortable. I almost couldn't take pictures with it tidy because we were tired and wanted to use the bathroom. We took a shower and finally to rest.
I am in the room with a good friend of noble heart and beauty without equal. Tomorrow will be a great day and I will tell you about it. The first time was spectacular, of that I have no doubt.

First of all, have a great time and enjoy yourself!!!!
Very beautiful the hotel, the rooms and the piano... and the Cuban who manages to get there has to bathe on the beach even if it's cold, look that trip doesn't happen very often....
I hope you can post more pictures about your stay there, and somehow we can be closer to that beautiful place.

Good morning, my friend. Thank you for your good wishes. Here at a work event but certainly a good opportunity to enjoy Varadero.
