Weekend Get away

What beautiful weather for my day off. Since I have nothing planned for the weekend, I decided to take my pals on a drive up north today.

Since we had no specific plans, we looked up the closest new places to visit in Dumaguete on Facebook and chose to go to Maject View Restobar in Hudyo, Giligaon Siaton because it is near the beach and it's perfect since we also like to go swimming. From Dumaguete, Mangnao, to Siaton, the drive takes one hour and twenty minutes.

Driving is relaxing, but I prefer riding my motorcycle than riding a car or a bus since I can pause whenever I want to take in the scenery plus I will not get dizzy by it. Although I'm intrigued by the prospect of exploring a new location in a rural area.

Here is the new location I'm referring about, it features lots of hammocks and wooden tables that go well with the surrounding coconut trees.

They have some cool paintings displayed on the entryway. How come some people have this talent anyway? Daahh, but I love seeing beautiful artworks and I very much appreciate it.

Of course, how could we forget to provide meals for the hungry? We've placed an order for some standard munchies, special Halo-Halo for the heat, and pancit canton. Since they have only recently launched, their menu is not very extensive. We brought a lunch, but outside food is not permitted. We must eat the food we brought in secret, thus it is not seen in the photo since we must keep it a secret. Hahaha.

We eat first so that we will have energy to explore and snap pictures. I also needed to calm my body because of a lengthy drive.

We went to the beach to take a dip. It's astounding how many coconut palms there are in the barangay. We went outside the restobar and took a left going to the beach area.

It's very calming to periodically have some grounding, so we're walking barefoot to locate someplace shaded so we can have a seat on the sand.

We arrived to look for a spot to sit when some children arrived. Despite our jokes, they were astonished to see us and were very interested in the items we brought, such as the Bluetooth speaker and the shades we were wearing. They are very unresponsive even after we spoke with them. When I offered them one of my chips, they were initially very cautious, but they eventually managed to handle it.

We spend time together because we connect on some level. We enjoy traveling, and an unforeseen road trip happened.

Because we frequently hang out together, our neighbors refer to us as the Triple M. We always have our breakfast and coffee together every day , even on our busy schedules since we have jobs now, we always managed to see each other. They are more like a sister to me; in fact, Melanie on the left is my sister's best friend, I'm in the middle, and Miles, Melanie's girlfriend, is on the right.

It is really a beautiful sensation to sit and chat with friends while taking in the straightforward creations of God the Father. Staring at the blue sky reflecting on the ocean gave a wonderful feeling of relaxation.

My mind is at ease while picking stones and experiencing the sensation of touching the stones and the sand, it's almost like a reflex on my soul. I'm really proud to have the stones balanced. Feel free to visit Maject View with no entrance fee, so you're free to enjoy the place.
