BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! RULESET: Holy Protection

About: Holy Protection Ruleset:

Holy Protection is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all monsters gain the Divine Shield ability which reduces the damage of the first attack received to 0.

• Divine Shield will be re-applied when a unit is Resurrected.

• Blast damage will remove divine shield.

Battle Ruleset:

There were three rulesets Born Again, Weak Magic, and Holy Protection. The allowed mana cap was 34and two Splinters (Life and Death) summoners were not active in this battle.

Battle Summoner

I choose LOBB LOWLAND as a Summoner for this battle which is a reward edition rare Earth Splinter Summoner that costs 6 mana and has 2 abilities. The abilities of this summoner are to decrease the speed of enemy team monsters by -1 and also we can use 1 gladius edition card under this summoner. I have upgraded it to level 5 and now most of the time I am using it because of the Gladius card Quora under this summoner. I chose this summoner for this battle because Quora was available in this battle I wanted to use Quora in this battle. I have upgraded it to level 5 and under this summoner, I can use up to level 6 common cards.

1. VENARI MARKSRAT:

In the first position, I used VENARI MARKSRAT which is a reward edition rare range attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. It costs 3 mana, does a -1-range attack, and has a Martyr ability at level 1. I used it in the first position because of its Martyr ability so when it kills it will increase the stats of monsters in the second position which is Quora and also this battles has a Born Again ruleset so it will double increase the stats. I have got it at level 2 from the focus rewards and it works fine me in battles.

2. QUORA TOWERSHEAD:

In the second position, I used QUORA TOWERSHEAD which is a Gladius edition an Epic melee-magic attack monster from the Earth splinter. It costs 10 mana and does a -2 melee and -2 magic attack, along with the Heal and Bloodlust abilities at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 3 in which it gains one more ability Immune. I used it here in this battle and in the second position because of its Bloodlust and Heal abilities. Currently, I have this monster at level 3 and it works very well for me in battles.

3. FUNGUS FLINGER:

In the third position, I used FUNGUS FLINGER which is a reward edition common range attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 3 mana, does a -1-range attack, and has a Martyr ability at level 1. I used it in the third position because of its Martyr ability so when it kills it will increase the stats of monsters in the second (Quora) and fourth positions monsters. Also, I used it in this battle because of the Born Again ruleset. I have got it at level 3 from the focus rewards chests opening. I will soon upgrade it to level 5 for the Blind ability.

4. GOBLIN PSYCHIC:

In the fourth position, I used GOBLIN PSYCHIC which is a Chaos Legion edition common magic attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 6 mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has 1 ability Tank Heal at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which it gains 1 more ability Afflication. I used it in this battle because of it's Tank Heal ability which will recover the health of the monster in the first position. Currently, I have this monster at level 4 and it works fine for me.

5. VAMPIRE BAT:

In the fifth position, I used VAMPIRE BAT which is a reward edition common melee attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 3 mana, does a -1 melee attack, and has a Flying ability at level 1. I used it in this battle because of its high speed and also it has a Flying ability for the Sneak monsters. Currently, I have this monster at level 3 in the Gold foil that I got from the focus rewards.

6. SPIRIT HOARDER:

In the last position, I used SPIRIT HOARDER which is a Chaos Legion edition Legendary magic attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. It costs 3 mana, does a -1 magic attack, and has 2 abilities ``Triage and Dispel at level 1. I used it in this battle because of its Triage ability which will recover the Health of the monster in the back line. Currently, I have this monster at level 2 and it works great for me. Currently, I have this monster at level 2 in the Gold foiled version that I got from the Chaos Legion edition pack's opening.
