What If? Animal Edition
An animal, the topic for this week’s weekly feature contents is a very interesting one. Humans can be considered animals but we like to refer to ourselves as first class animals or high class animals which excludes us from just being “animals”.

Animals have become very useful to us humans that we classify them differently. There are some specifically for domestic purposes, some for companionship, some for security and others just primarily for food. And of course there are the dangerous ones. I guess in life there are has to be some form of danger in all we do.
I’m pretty sure it’s not just me but a lot of us have for a moment in ourselves thought what if? What if I could be a dog, a car, a crocodile, a frog, a lion, an eagle or whatever…..
I’m very intrigued if someone here has never had such a thought. At least the number of entries this topic already has says we’ve all thought about it.😂
So facing the topic at hand what animal I’d be with my choosing, I think I would prefer being an animal that aligns with some of the qualities I think I have and the ones I would like to have. Let’s get into it.
The dolphin is an animal I’ve admired for quite some time now. I think it dates to my elementary school days when we watched cartoons and these animal documentaries and what not. We also read about dolphins some time back. But to be honest my interest peaked when I heard dolphins were among the smartest creatures on earth.
I was like huh 🤔, how can an animal such as the dolphin be so smart that they have such high IQs. I decided to read a more on them and possibly watch more videos if I could.
Dolphins are known to be very good in forming bonds. Humans as complex and confusing as we are can be very bad at forming and keeping relationships. Some of us can’t keep 2 or 3 good friends for whatever reason while some of us just do not care. That’s not the case with dolphins.
I am someone who valued good friendship and so I try my best to maintain the friendships I hold dear to me. If I have a misunderstanding with a friend and it’s worth saving, I just apologize even if I do not agree I am at fault. Dolphins emulate this behavior too and are very good at keeping relationships.
Another quality I like to think I have is helping out when I can. Dolphins too help each other out and it is a gesture I would like to do more. As living creatures we should help each other out since none of us can make it totally on our own.
The world is moving at such a pace that teamwork is fading off. We’re all or at least most of us are concerned with just “us” or our well being. Once we are ok, we don’t care about others which isn’t always the best. We’re only focused on achieving our goals that we do not take the goals of others into consideration.
Dolphins as I’ve read are very particular about teamwork and work together to find food. Other animals like ants do that as well.
Creativity is one thing I luck which I would love to have. I just admire creative people regardless of what field the creativity is being exhibited. I would love to know how to paint or draw or solve complex situations easily. I’m sure we have all in either movies or documentaries seen dolphins copy the movements of humans. Dolphins can realize other dolphins and humans are in danger or sad and when they do, they come to your aid and try to cheer you. It’s a feature I would like to emulate.
Dolphins helping a man make a jump
Dolphins also have developed interesting ways to solve problems. They have a sense of “echolocation”. This is used by dolphins to locate things and is something scientists are studying.
Dolphins are also very playful, fun to be with, eco friendly and a whole lot. These are features worth emulating for me and are reasons I would love to be a dolphin if given the opportunity.
Thank you.

Dolphins are man's sea friend, so I heard Sha. I also they offer help to humans in the open sea.
Yeah man. Only if we humans were that good too. Thanks for your comment.
