The OG Lion 🦁 - Old, Proud, Wise And Strong Lion

We’re lions after all and after the update form Leo growth, I realized I am only a kitten and with that, steady growth could take me to an OG lion my self one day. Being Apex lion is the dream.🤞

After making entries for the slay the dragon, lion zealer and the LPUD participant, I come again today to present my entry on the OG Lion quest. This lion is supposed to appear old and wise. After our OGs are the masters the wise ones.

Honestly, I am not very proud of this one. I had a tough time with this one but I hope what I have here is good enough. I had troubles with the other entries but this has by far being the worst. I’ve had to erase a few times and getting the body right, you’ll see if it’s okay. I actually thought this would be easier but let’s see if you like it.

The final design is what we have as the cover image and the first image. This is the process of how I achieved at my design.

First, I got my materials ready. A pencil, eraser and an A4 sheet.

Second, I attempted to start with the face of our OG lion. I had the picture of what I wanted to draw in mind and so I tried to go by that. With my pencil, I made attempts of the face and the head.

Next, I added some flesh to the drawing. I attempted to draw more of the head.

At this point, I made a few outlines and what I attempted to draw was coming to light. I connected a few dots and this was the result.

I looked at the drawing and decided to make some editing. First, the mouth side was redone and the line connecting the head to the back was changed as well.

At this point my work was pretty much done. I decided that I was going to make my design a bit more colored this time. I deepened some parts of the drawing. I did that on the face of the of the lion too and it was starting to look like an old and wise lion. Our OG was staring to come to life:

This our OG lion knows it is most time of the month and judging by the looks, powered up some Leo as well. He looks very fine and ready to carry on into the next month and beyond.

After quite some more editing and final touches to the OG lion drawing, here’s what it looks like.
