Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - My New Favorite Card

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands social media challenge for this week. I will be talking about one of my new cards that has become a favorite. The game has many cards that have their different abilities and can always be important in battle. Whether it's summoners or non summoners, some thought needs to be put into your card selection for battle.

The rulesets always have to be considered while making card selections and one other thing I like to do is look at my enemy's battle history. At times, the battle history proves very useful and on other occasions, the history can be your downfall. Some players use it to their advantage and set you up just in case you try to use their history against them.

I have used several cards and for those I do not own, I keep renting. Currently, the card I like to use and consider my favorite is Yokin Zaku. Yodin Zaku is a fire summoner with three abilities. When I started playing the game, I did not enjoy the fire cards because I had a few and I didn't quite like using melee and ranged attack monsters. I preferred the earth monsters because a lot of them are magic cards and magic cards in most cases attack the health directly. Unlike melee and ranged monsters who first attack the shield.

Yodin Zaku has a mana cost of seven. Selecting this summoner gives your monsters an additional health of 1, a +1 ranged attack and the blast ability. The blast or explosive ability given to all your units at the start of battle, does half damage to units adjacent to the target unit. This means that if an attack of 3 melee, ranged or magic is done to your enemy's monster in number 1 position, 2 melee, ranged or magic damage is done to your enemy's monster in position number 2. However, if same 3 melee, ranged or magic is done to your enemy's number 2 monster, 2 melee, ranged or magic damage is done to the enemy's number 1 and number 3 monsters.

This blast damage Yodin Zaku allows you to do your enemy is useful in allowing you to kill your enemy faster. It's very useful when your enemy doesn't have monsters with the reflection shield ability. Reflection shield prevents damages from thorns, magic reflect, blast and return fire. In cases where these kind of monsters are not used, you will have a strong advantage over your enemy.

In cases where your enemy has monsters with the martyr abilities, it's not advisable to use Yodin Zaku. Players who like to use martyr monsters usually follow them up with powerful monsters like Quora Townsend, Grund or Kron the Undying. Monsters like Quora have a healing ability, bloodlust and a double attack of melee and magic. I'm sure most of us have had very experiences with Quora and wouldn't want to be arming your enemy the more by killing the martyr cards like Fungus Flinger.

This is where the battle history of your enemies can help you. If you see that your enemy has some of these powerful cards which are followed by the martyr cards, it's best to stay away from Yodin Zaku and monsters that have the opportunity ability.

I have used Yodin Zaku for about 2 weeks now and it has helped me on several occasions to win lots of battles. In some occasions, it has been my downfall.
