Blockchain Gaming With Terracore - Attack And Steal Scraps

With so much things to explore and engage in on hive, I must admit it’s been a nice feeling exploring all these. I’m still finding my feet with some of these like the hive games. Terracore is one of such games I have been playing for a while now.

I got into this game through a contest that was run by acidyo a while back and though initially I was not playing, I had always wanted to join. I wasn’t playing partly because I didn’t do enough research before joining and some was because I just couldn’t get it to work with my phone. My computer is not always with me and so I like to use my phone for a lot of things.

When the contest finished and I got quite a lot of scraps from the reward pool, I asked some questions and watched some videos on YouTube to understand the game a bit better. Fortunately, I got a link that works on my phone. From the answers I got, it was clear the game takes a lot in terms of time and investment. Even before you start playing, you’ll need about 30+ hive. That’ll allow you to attack and also mine some scraps.

I upgraded my damage first because that allows you to attack users who have collected more scraps and have not claimed yet. I also upgraded my stash size because the more you steal from other accounts, you will need a bigger stash size to be able to hold what you steal before you claim.

What I realized early is that increasing your engineering means you can get attacked more because you’ll have more scraps in your stash and so I haven’t upgraded that yet. For now I am just concentrated on the damage and the defense.

My damage currently is 80 which allows me to attack accounts with less than 70 defense. It really is a nice feeling when you attack some one and you’re able to steal a lot of scraps 😅. It’s not nice when the person has enough luck or is able to dodge your attack. You’re only able to steal small of the stash when the account has a lot of luck. It’s even worse when you are stolen hehe. When you attack though, there’s a 60 second grace period where no one can attack you. So you have got to be fast in claiming your scraps into your hive engine wallet before that one minute expires.

My first impressions is that this is a very good way to earn some cryptocurrency which is scraps. The nice thing is that you can use this scraps token to either invest more in the game or trade in the market. I guess this is why we love blockchain games. Play to earn is the best way to go hehe.

Hive has endless opportunities that we can all benefit from. We have just got to find the right one that works for us and hope for the best. Terracore is one of the games I am playing and in due time, I hope to share the other games I have been playing.

I guess these are some of the advantages web3. Web2 has games but most of them do not have ways to earn like how hive does. They rather just take your time and resources though some of them are quite fun.
