Battle Mage Secrets Challenge - Holy Protection

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I will be writing about one of the battles a few days ago. I probably would have used another battle but the only other holy protection battle I played, I lost hehe. Since my last update for the social media challenge which I wrote here
For this particular battle, I used my account @yahuzah. It is my designated spl account.

Summoner chosen:
I decided to go with the obsidian summoner. That is what I am okay with currently. I have gotten more used to it and I have used other summoners but for this battle, I went with the Obsidian summoner.
For my first position, I picked the Unicorn Mustang. This monster has a health of 10, 3 melee attack, 4 speed and a mama of 8. It reduces damage from magic attacks.

cards in position for the battle
Looking at the speed of both are selections, we had monsters with a speed of 4 each. I attacked first with my Unicorn Mustang. My opponent had Iidri Fyre in the first position which allows all enemy monsters to target it if they are able to.

My Unicorn Mustang attacked my opponent’s first card and did no damage. My third card, Venari Scout attacked my opponent next and missed. My opponent’s second card, Molten Ash Golem attacked my Unicorn Mustang and did no damage. That concluded round 1.
My Unicorn Mustang monster attacked the opponent’s first card again but this time did a damage of 3 to the shield. My third card missed the opponent again. This time my opponent did a damage of 1 to my Unicorn Mustang with his Molten Ash Golem. Round 2 ended with my first card having a reduced health to 9 and my opponent’s first card no longer had a shield.

My Unicorn Mustang attacked my opponent’s first card, Iidri Fyre and did a damage of 3 reducing the monster’s health to 6. My third monster, Venari Scout attacked my opponent’s first and reduced its health to 5 with a damage of 1. My Unicorn Mustang was then attacked by his second card and reduced did a damage of 1 to my monster reading the health to 8.

My unicorn Mustang attacked my opponent’s first monster and did a damage of 3 reducing his health to 2. My Venari Scout attacked next and further reduced the health of my opponent’s Iidri Fyre to 1. My opponent’s second monster attacked my first and reduced my health from 8 to 7. That concluded round 5.

My Unicorn Mustang went first again with a damaged to my opponent’s first card Iidri Fyre and killed it. My Venari Scout attacked my opponent’s new second monster, Chaos Agent and did a 0 damage. My opponent’s new first card, Molten Ash Golem missed his attack on my first card. That concluded round 5.

My Unicorn Mustang attacked my opponent and did no damage. My Venari Scout then attacked my opponent’s Chaos Agent and reduced its health by one. My opponent’s Molten Ash Golem attacked my Unicorn Mustang and reduced its health my one. That concluded round 6.

My Unicorn Mustang attacked my opponent’s Molten Ash Golem and this time did a damage of -3 health. My Venari Scout attacked his Chaos Agent and killed it. With that, I killed 2 of his monsters and had none of my monsters killed. My opponent attacked my first card and that concluded round 7. At this point, I knew I would win.

With one of my opponent’s card remaining and I still having 3, it looked like I would have a straightforward battle. I attacked first with my Unicorn Mustang doing a damage of 3 and reducing the health to 4. Venari Scout attacked next and did a damage of 1 reducing the health further to 3. My opponent attacked me and reduced my card’s health to 4 concluding round 8.

I attacked with my Unicorn Mustang and killed my opponent’s remaining card. Molten Ash Golem died like his fellow teammates despite standing strongest hehe. I had to wait long for my victory but it was tasty.
I finished this battle in 9 rounds with none of my monsters getting destroyed.
