Simple Tips & Guide for New Players

As a seasoned player who started playing Splinterlands back in 2021, I have learned how to play the game thoroughly and in stages. There's no need to rush into a higher league; instead, take your time to learn the basics. Because the game has undergone significant changes due to the land's ongoing development, it's now much simpler for new players to read and understand the monsters' abilities and the mechanics of the game.

There are two types of formats to compete against: Modern and Wild. In this particular card game situation, playing in the modern format is prohibited for bots, so you must play against other players. In contrast, if you play in the wild format, which comes with essential cards to play and manage, you will be primarily dominated by bots. These robots are extremely powerful and will play for as long as it is designated to play for. Therefore, if you're a new player, I suggest that you devote your time to playing in the modern format.

League Requirments

Since it can be challenging for new players to achieve a 100 rating, they should learn the abilities of the cards in the modern format, especially Rebellion Editions. If you have Chaos Legion Cards and Riftwatcher Cards, these are good ways to learn and win the game. New players will start in the Novice league with a rating of 0, yet after winning a few games, they will advance to the Bronze league if they can beat opponents and increase thier rating to 100+. However, you will be using Rebellion cards for beginner decks, which you may practice using against novice players.

Novice Cards Limitation

Novice Battle allows you to play with all of your level 1 cards, including common, rare, epic, and legendary cards. You can also use starter cards, which have no penalties and are an excellent opportunity for new players to practice. Novice League is an enjoyable way to play where you can use the standard card combinations.

You can play unconventionally; the important thing is to defeat your opponent with the cards you chose to play. You should also be familiar with the cards from the New Release Set Rebellion and Chaos Legion, Rifwatcher Edition.

Bronze League Cards

The Bronze League is a challenging game to play. Common Cards may now be used at level 3, Rare Cards can be used at level 2, and Epic Cards can only be used at level 1. Legendary Cards can only be used at level 1. In the Bronze League, if you have a card that you can use in combat, you can win Splintershards. And,

The Daily Focus Challenge has certain guidelines that you must adhere to in order to increase your points and unlock more daily chests in your preferred league. For instance, the image i share is water element, so if use water summoner and pure water element cards and if you manage to overcome your opponent and follow a particular set of rules regarding focus points, you can win and receive more points and treasure chest. By the as you can see the number is quite big that image is from a Gold Chest focus Points. The Bronze League is a great place to start if you want to start collecting more cards in the Bronze Division, as the chest contains rewards like Soul-Bound Rewards Cards, Legendary Potions, Alchemy Potions, Merits for Brawls Store, and Sps.

If you open a focus box, you have a 0.2% chance of finding a legendary card in bronze, compared to a 0.5% chance for gold foil cards.

Season Chest

Additionally, there are season chest rewards. As you perform your daily quests, you can take part in Season Battles. For the time being, I'll explain to you how to get these rewards. The image I've provided is from a Gold Chest; I've earned 29 Golden Chests. Typically, the season lasts 15 or 16 days, so you must battle and win to accumulate more chests. The most lucrative type of rewards in Splinterlands is Season Awards (SPS), as you can use SPS to purchase new sets of cards or convert your SPS into Dark Energy Crystals to purchase more cards.

In the Splinterlands market, DEC and SPS are in popular demand, especially SPS since it can be staked to unlock additional rewards and double points, which can be used to obtain more rewards chests for your sessional battle of daily grind engagement. Splintershards or A.K.A. SPS is a Boost Modifiers it generate multiplier points to gain more rewards. And most players enjoy receiving SPS rewards, which they can then convert into DEC to purchase their cards or sell them in the in game market if they wanted to for other reasons.
