Noxious Fumes poisons all monsters from the start of the battle. To counter this ruleset you may use higher lives/hp or use cleanse ability or with immunity ability.

Rise of the Commons is the focus of this blog which is focused on the use of common and rare cards only.

Briar Patch makes all the monsters have the thorn ability. To counter this attack, you may not use melee attacks, or use shield ability as well as with healing ability.

ROUND 1

Despite this average low mana, I took the chance to use Possibilus the Wise as my summoner because of his 2 extra lives, trample, and reachability. Though with the battle rules of Thorn, I still utilized Diemonshark with Venari Marksrat at his side. And last but the most important is having River Nymph in the deck thus prolonging the life of my tank. Venari Marksrat, even in the 2nd line defense he could attack the enemy and at the same, once he is dead he will give an extra buff to the parallel monster giving more chances of winning over the enemy. The enemy may be wise to limit the use of melee attacks and having extra life given by Tarsa prolongs the life of his team. I find it a drawback to his team when he puts Venari Marksrat as the first tank, though it is obviously to give a buff to Xenith Monk but putting him to the 2nd may give a buff to his Firecaller giving me a bigger damage. But thanks to his strategy it will be easier for me to win.

ROUND 2

This round if the poison affected Firecaller earlier it may have increased the life and attack of the first tank sad to say for the enemy, as he attacked my Diemonshark he was enraged and increased his melee attack and speed. With the Lava Spider snipe ability, the goal for another increase in the stats of Diemonshark was made earlier as he attacked my Venari Marksrat.

ROUND 3

Diemonshark defeated Xenith Monk early on this round triggering his trample ability to Firecaller thus increasing Lava Spider's stats but what use will it be if he could not attack in the front row?

ROUND 4

Both of the cleansers in this round have already poisoned leaving Diemonshark and Lava Spider. Without close-range ability, he could not perform ranged attacks from the first position thus giving me an easy win.

One more thoroughly struggle that I had to win was against the poison and the thorns.

The primary problem in this situation is Rise of the Common, but with the help of my Possibilus the Wise and Diemonshark, I was able to take combat with simplicity.
