Noxious Fumes - Battle Mage Secrets Strategy
My Today's Splinterlands Battle Challenge Secret!!
RULESET: Noxious Fumes!
I've encountered this battle condition numerous times, and I still think it's a terrible place to fight. In addition, the poisonous vapors will grill you if you lack immunity or cleansed abilities, which will be fatal for all of your units on the ground.
My Battle Mage Secret Summary 😎
Thorns and noxious vapors were the combat conditions I encountered throughout this fight; there were two conditions to prepare for, a mana cap of 35, and only fire and earth were available to play with.
Well, the ideal hero for me here is not a magic attack or magic defense combo; instead, I like health and damage, and Tarsa is one of my top choices in this type of combat.
The Early Set UP
Looking at our monsters on the battlefield, we both have the same element, Fire. I'm not sure why my opponent is hesitant to employ the earth element, but I consider we both feel that health is the most important factor because of the noxious fumes' fatal consequences.
Grum Flameblade is also common on this due to the 35 mana, we both have the same idea but take different approaches, the cleanse of Scavo Chemist is an important factor in contributing to the win on this challenge, fumes are extremely dangerous, and we both need to ensure the safety of our units against the poison's minus 2 damage. So cleansing is truly vital, even if it can only cleanse one monster on the field, which is in first position.
If I happened to stumble over this kind of annyoing ruleset during a battle, I searched for a monster with healing and immunity, but it's not perfect because occasionally, units with such kind of useful abilities won't be accessible to play because of elemental constraints and other battle platform restrictions boundaries.
I still have one ace card in the late game, Forgotten One, because it is the monster with the Immunity ability in this fight and a feature I need to consider, as well as the rest of my cards would be melted by the poisonous fumes from the rule set.
I've also used cards with the ability to martyr; when they die, they grant a bonus to neighboring troops on the field. This is important because while dying from poison or being attacked by my opponent they can still help me on the battle.
Thorns is an excellent repellent to melee attacks, but I do not hesitate to use melee strength throughout this battle since I know the most powerful ability that might prevent me from winning is the toxic fumes, so I continue to use melee, which is why I use Grum Flameblade and Forgotten One to accomplish their jobs.
On the first fight, all we did was endure the physical damage and suffer the minus 2 damage from the poison, but in the middle of the fight, as my monster was deleted due to toxins, Venari Marksrat uplifted the Stats of my powerhouse monster Forgotten One. However, in the late game, my Grum was satisfying to watch as my opponent's first tank was eliminated. The biggest benefit of my set is that I have a higher level than my opponent, who is level 3. That is one of the drawbacks of not employing level-up cards and summoners with higher levels. I've outmanoeuvred my opponent in card positioning, and my level monster unit is superior than his.
