Up Close and Personal

With this type of rule set, all I can say is that it's extremely difficult to counter because all the monsters you can choose for your deck are melee. There's also an excellent likelihood that the other player will use Mylor Crawling and exploit the thorns' abilities, which buff its entire army. I opted not to utilize low-level Mylor Crawling in my instance and instead selected a quality summoner that is appropriate for Silver League melee encounters.

In my situation, Mylor Crawling is too low level for me to make use of Thorn's skills, but the gap of monsters that I might employ will be smaller and weaker. Because of Tarsa's powerful melee buff attack and additional health the cards that I will be utilizing will be a bit stronger and the Fire element will be enough to take down Earth or other elements that I might encounter in this tournament. So, I preferred her.

Battle Rule Set Discussion

Let's discuss the set of rules that I encountered throughout this week's challenge. I would want to play with a lot of cards because I'm participating in a wild format event. Mylor Crawling is often the most exciting choice, but I seldom choose it since I know that using low-level cards against the maximum level cap on the silver league would only make me lose more ground in combat.

In actuality, you can only use a level 3 common, level 2 epic, and a rare card when you summon a level 2 summoner card. For this reason, I'm afraid to utilize a level 2 summoner card in the tournaments I'm hoping to win for Splintershards SPS to earn more profit in my games. Using a level 4 summoner in silver league allows you to utilize level 5 common, rare 4, epic 3, and legendary cards by two. I've included an image of the Summoner Level Limits so you can better understand. I nearly forgot to explain the rules that we are fighting for Up close and personal limits the cards that may be played to just melee monsters; battling against them is uncomfortable, and cripples the game considerably. I need to evaluate my cards with the greatest monster with the highest mana on the field since the mana of 59 is rather high. Water and life are the two elements that are not allowed to be played with.

Battle Mage Secret Strategy

As you can see, we have two legendary card that had been place my opponent use Earth Element cards in his first position. I personally have to place also a level 2 Grum Flameblade. I put this because it has bloodlust, and I figure that if I can kill it in the first position and gain extra damage and health, that will be a good show. However, I believe that I will find it difficult to take on Mylor Crawling's formidable protector, Terraceus Hulk, because of his additional thorns, which are quite terrifying to attack.

Early Match up

In the early stages of the fight, I placed my Forgotten One on the final spot so that it would have the opportunity to strike back if my opponent used a sneak attack. However, based on the cards I have against him, it appears that he was unwilling to use a sneak attack, so my Forgotten One will sit idle for a while until all of my monsters have been knocked out of first position. I can sneak attack with my Tenyii Strikers and Sand Worm, and every successful melee attack I strike, i got damage by two. This is when Mylor Crawling's ability handle thorns comes into play. Basically my opponent is so strong against me, he had level 3 summoner to battle in this case.

Mid-Game Encounter

We are now down to three monsters after four rounds of combat, and I managed to defeat Oaken Behemoth. The Armor from Arkemis the Bear is somewhat annoying; I have to destroy the armors before reaching the health points. Sand Worm, which only has one life, is hanging its life. I still have my Forgotten one sitting in hand, waiting its turn to carry out some attacks.

End Game

This is the last round of dueling, and it's between Arkemis the Bear and the Forgotten One. I still have armor and health, but the Bear is losing life. Despite the lowered health, he still has thorns. However, after the Bear attacked, I was able to retaliate, lowering its guard and health until I knocked him out. It was a thrilling fight to witness; I came very close to losing, but I managed to defeat Mylor Crawling. Overcoming the Odds. This battle is not easy! I just had the finest lineup for this competition.
