Whispering sound of a mosquito…

Sounds can come in different forms and we are surrounded by many of them such as beats, music, noise, etc. Some sounds are pleasing to the ear and nourish the soul, while others are disturbing to the ear and annoying. Have you ever been sleeping and all of a sudden you heard the buzzing sound of a mosquito, Lol as funny as it may sound it’s one of the most annoying and frustrating sounds to hear especially around 3 am in the middle of the night just like I have been disturbed for a couple of days now due to lack of electricity in my area because if there was electricity the breeze from the fan won't give them the chance to execute their mission.

The flapping of the mosquito wings, yes the wings are what produces the sound we hear not the mosquito itself which often gives me PTSD because of the physical and mental damage it has caused to me because I am very sensitive to it, and whenever I hear the sound I’m awake even before it bites me and this most times gives me sleepiness nights making me inactive and drowsy in the morning.

Aside from the annoying sound this little menace insect produces they are the carriers of pathogens such as malaria causing threats to human health nationwide and most times deadly.

There are a few ways In which I control and eradicate the presence of a mosquito ;

• Making sure I clear out any stagnant water close to my environment.
  Water when stagnant serves as a breading space for organisms and mosquitoes are one of them. Clearing out stagnant water and also covering the water around your environment can help control this insect.
  Poor drainage facility is also another reason why mosquitoes are in your surroundings.
  Clear your drainage system such as the gutter as soon as possible.
• making my environment clean.
  Decayed organic matter and garbage around your vicinity are also some of the favorite places for mosquitoes to breed in.
  Clearing out your garbage as early as possible can save you from the annoying sound of a mosquito and sleeplessness nights
• Clearing the Vegetation around my environment.
  People staying in the village experience the alarming presence of mosquitoes because they are close to a lot of vegetation. This factor also serves as a breeding space for mosquitoes.

As much as we hate the menace behavior of these insects it is also important to note that they serve as a reminder that humanity is still alive, still Let’s do well to avoid them because they can do more harm than good.
