Funny how we have become so dependent and comfortable with this advancement. Imagine getting to sign up for something and Google can provide you with the appropriate documents for the signup.
I was trying to sign up for something this afternoon on my mobile phone and a suggestion was brought up that I should sign up with Google which I clicked on and immediately I got signed up with my correct details but as much as it makes my life and work easier I discovered that I’m prone to cyber attack.

Cyber attacks can come in different forms which are mostly done by humans.
Due to our carelessness of leaving our personal and important information on the internet without proper security protocols taken, other humans could have access to them and from that gain access to our valuable things and even cause danger to our lives due to the personal information they’ve gotten about us from the internet.

Technology and its advancements can provide us with an algorithm that can either benefits or harm our mental health.

I discovered of recently that Instagram has been showing me more about forex trading reels which is what I search on most times when I’m on the platform but my girlfriend complained to me about how she has been seeing more of heartbreaks reels which most times have gained control over her emotions and her feelings.
so as much as the algorithm is great it can also affect our personal lives.

Technology could put our lives in danger when we rely too much on it.
Imagine living in a smart home where you have handed over all your security details to a robot and there’s a malfunction in the system meaning it will start going against commands and controls which could be dangerous and harmful to you and everyone around you.

While we look forward to the advancement and development of technology we should also consider not choosing them over our safety/privacy and also more research should be done before putting your information out there so it won’t be in the hands of the people that can hurt us.
