STRICT PARENTING
parenting can be one of the most challenging and rewarding journeys a person can go through. Parent often struggle to provide for their children, train them, and also give their best to make them successful. A lot of parents have completed this journey while some have begun the process but failed.
strict parenting can impart children with good security and stability as they know what to do and when to do them because they understand the consequences their actions could bring. This helps them to have good self-control
As parenting styles vary, strict parenting has become one of the methods used by many parents to teach their children discipline and to teach them how to be more productive in their lives.
I thought my dad hated us because of his approach to how he trained us but I got to understand all he wanted for us was to be responsible.
We were never rich but still okay and my dad was always ready to provide for us in any way he could but he made a rule for us back then not to always go to other people’s houses. I thought he hated us and didn’t want us to socialize with people not knowing he was teaching us to be contented and to set boundaries.
This lesson stayed with me forever and I hardly ever go to people’s houses except this must make people respect you more than they should.
Another strict parenting approach my dad instilled in us was to always accept our mistakes. This is something a lot of us can relate to shifting blame to others so we won’t be punished, well we do that a lot too my dad did his best to correct that and this has made me stand out. This may seem to be hard to keep up with but as time passes I learn to accept the reality and being truthful about my mistakes has paid off as I get to find remedies to them as soon as possible
As strict parenting can be all good some parents use this as an excuse to abuse their children leading them to feel pressured, stressed, having low self-esteem, and making them uncomfortable with others because they never really experienced true love from people they believed in.

Hmmm. Reading this post I had a question in my mind what do you mean by strict parenting? I mean how would you define it?
From the essence of the post I have git the idea that you are talking about a parenting style where the parents are firm and disciplined about their set rules. If that is so, I agree that discipline is of immense importance in making our lives fruitful.
About the aspect of accepting mistakes, I staunchly belief that taking the responsibility of one's mistakes is the first step towards a better version of yourself. Nevertheless, accepting the mistakes shouldn't mean that you feel yourself in an undue burden and shame, but there should be a will to rectify and/or learn.
